Liked: I had the nice room downstairs. For R$ 80 a good deal.

Disliked: Not understandeble, why there was not a seat and a writingtable in the room.

Liked: Location is very good. Near the busy historical center, but still in the quite part of the city.

Disliked: After the second day, lock on my locker was missing even though I locked it in the morning (luckily all my valuable stuff was with me so nothing was missing). My room door was open every time I returned and it even happened when I was the only person in the room and gone only for 1 hour locking the door after me. Poor breakfast. Wi-Fi is functioning only near the reception desk and there is no chair to sit down. Kitchen was dirty and bugs flying around the stove and table that was supposed to be breakfast table and including all that, I saw a cockroach in my room.

Liked: I only stayed for one night. In a good location and close to the old centre of town. Staff friendly and accommdating.

Disliked: We had to wait ages to check in as the staff were all away from the desk. We stayed in the private room and there were LOTS of black flies in there with us; very creepy. Shower also ran tepid.

Liked: Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent tropical breakfast. A nice, friendly, comfy, family-run small hostel
