Good location, nice place to stay and meet fellow travellers, loved the rooftop common space, good wi-fi connection most of the time, comfortable beds, lots of fruits for breakfast, good water pressure in the shower…

With local family festivals held regularly at the end of the street, staying at Hostel Manaus gives you a taste of local Brazilian lifestyle with all the convenience of being close to the action of downtown.

Warning: Be aware of higher priced hotels now using similar names such as “Manaus Hostel Trip Tour”. To make sure you have arrived at the ORIGINAL Hostel Manaus, look for the HI symbol and Australian flag on the front door.

At the airport and on the bus, travelers may be approached by unauthorized tour operators offering 'information' on accommodation and jungle tours. Since Hostel Manaus does not recommend these operators to our guests, they may try to convince you not to stay here. Don’t be misled by false information. Hostel Manaus is a quality hostel, and has the reviews to show for it. Come and see for yourself why Hostel Manaus is the best value backpacker accommodation the city has to offer.
