Liked: This is the most friendly hostel/hotel I have ever visited! The owner really knows how to make you feel welcomed. This little place gives you the opportunity to relax both before and after going into the nation park for some serious trekking!

Liked: entering lencois, a car comes to pick you up to drive you to your hostel... they do that for everyone there...nicely organised! Once in hostel chill out mikael immediately offered us a freshly squeezed juicemix (Mikael, help me, i forgot the combination) as a welcome and showed us around his place.. he lives there with his son Kendro, who gives you a great hug as a welcome, and his friend Nikolas who prepares you great breakfast, lunch or dinner, having been a high level cook in sweden, brasil and other places... they helped us around with lots of tips and introduced us to lukas, our superguide!! to make a great trip in chapada diamantina.. ask for him at zentur (downtown)... before leaving, mikael and nikolas invited us to come back after our trip to celebrate christmas with them, the neighbours, other friends and a huge grilled pork (been grilling all afternoon) with lovely pommes dauphinois and selfmade cachaca from alberto.. we can´t keep writing but that´s not necessary..just go, the atmosphere is total zen and holiday!! thanks guys and good luck with the book...feliz natal!!!
