Homely little hostel in an excellent location. Comfortable ensuites, large garden and veranda with hammocks, fully equipped kitchen. Free internet, friendly multilingual owner.

Athome is a guesthouse-hostel in the heart of Jericoacoara, with a relaxed vibe and homely atmosphere. The location is excellent, central and quiet.

There is plenty of lounge space like the large garden with regional plants and trees and the spacious, breezy veranda with hammocks.

A fully equipped self-catering kitchen is available free of charge.

Free internet access for guests with own laptops.

The owner is fluent in Portuguese, English and German and cares personally for guests to feel right at home and have a great stay in Jericoacoara.

Athome consists of few rooms in a house with a cozy ambience and home-like comforts.

The private twin, double and 3-bed en-suites (bedroom-bathroom) are well ventilated, nicely decorated and comfortably furnished with ceiling fans, shelves, mosquito nets…

Bathrooms have hot showers and day-light windows.

Location Information

Jericoacoara is a small village, with just 5 streets and some alleys, unpaved and covered by sand. Athome Guesthouse is on the Main Street. It takes less than 1 minute to walk to-from the village center (where most of the restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. are located) and about 5 minutes to both local beaches.

Jericoacoara is approx. 300km away from Fortaleza (state capital & international airport) and can be reached by public bus or private transfer with car or mini-bus.

The beach is considered one of the most beautiful in the world and the charming village keeps a relaxing atmosphere combined with good infrastructure and nightlife.

The surrounding Jericoacoara National Park is fascinating, with splendid landscapes of high sand dunes, sweet water lagoons, secluded beaches…

Jericoacoara is considered one of the best places in Brazil and the world for windsurf and kite-surf, with excellent wind direction and constancy. Nearby Preá village is famous among kite-surfers.

Further activities: buggy and 4-wheel ATVs tours, sand-board, hiking, horseback riding, ¨capoeira¨ presentations & classes… or just relax on the beaches, watch amazing sunsets from the top of the dune, meet locals and travelers…
