Liked: Location was fantastic and breakfast very high quality

Disliked: We had to remind the staff each day to service our room when we were told on arrival that it would be done each day without request

Liked: ...right at the beach with a great terrace to sunbath on! super breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. well equiped kitchen that is cleaner than at most other hostels I´ve been to. perfect place to hang out and relax, not that much a party-island (at least on that side of the island/ in encantadas).

Liked: The property we ended up at was not the one we booked but it was great. Location was excellent. Room was nice. Not a good place to meet people. Very quiet and tranquil so good if you are looking for a break from the backpacker scene.

Disliked: We arrived and was told the room we booked was not availble and that we had to get a boat to a different hostel. The staff blamed Hostelbookers for the mix up and the other hostel was in a completely different area of the Island. The other hostel was really lovely but the mix up wasn´t handled very well and very annoying to have to get on another boat at 7pm after traveling for 15 hours to get there already. I had the feeling that they overbook regularly.

Liked: Friendly staff spoke English and were keen to help/have a drink with you. Kept clean and the decorations gave it a good feel. Only criticisms were that the bar closed far too early and our booking for a dorm was messed up so we had to pay extra for a double room.
