Liked: Great owner and a lovely dog. Very helpful hints and tips. The cafe next door serves lovely food that is very very cheap. Handy for the falls and bus station.

Liked: Clean but basic hostel. We stayed in the private rooms, which were ok, it was pretty hot, and the bed wasnt very comfortable but at least they were clean. We were the only ones in the hostel so it wasnt the best place to meet people! Staff were really friendly, restaurant recommendations were good, and fresh fruit at breakfast was great!

Liked: This place was so cute we didnt want to leave. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. The location is 2 blocks away from the bus station, and the buses are very easy to use. Breakfast provided and there was tons of fruit to choose from. I would definately stay here again.

Liked: A very social and pretty place with friendly and helpful staff. Amazing caipirinhas and live music in the evening! However, mosquitos killed us and there was no mosquito repellent on site in the rooms or outside, and it was way too hot in the room!

Liked: Game of two halfs: Best breakfast in south America so far – amazing range of fruit. Worst nights sleep in south America so far (air con did nothing, shower was malfunctioning and bed was hard)

Liked: Gerry was a legend and does the best Caiprinas we had in Brazil! Otherwise it was more expensive than a decent hostel in Rio and the area felt unsafe on our first night (might have had something to do with the fact that someone was smoking crack openly on the pavement!)

Liked: The staff were helpful and also run a tour company that offers reasonable prices for trips to the Falls. Breakfasts were great and caipirinhas excellent. Excellent place to meet other people. We couldn`t lock our room though and there were no lockers.

Liked: Jerry is a star. The place is clean and cosy. There is lots of space and everything you need here. Relaxed atmosphere, great music. I loved that my bed was made when I arrived and like a hote was made everyday. Thanks guys I really enjoyed my stay. x

Liked: Traveling through 20+ countries...I would have to say this has been my all-time favorite hostel. Luis, the owner of the hostel, makes you feel incredibly welcome and takes time to help everyone with whatever they need. After a day at the falls, he recommended great places to eat that weren't too expensive and then drank beers with us all night telling us hilarious stories...an awesome guy with an awesome place!

Liked: Relaxed and friendly environment, information and good tours organised from the hostel. Great location only a few blocks from the town. Nice social atmosphere at night with good caiprihina´s and bbq´s. Breakfast´s are also good and nice strong brazilian coffee. The dog Daisy is awesome too!
