 Good, clean place. Nice and quiet to sleep in!
Pay a bit more for a room with air con and TV.

close to Avenida Brasil where there are loads of restaurants and 6 blocks from Urban bus terminal which gets you buses to go visit brazilian and argentinian sides of falls. Travel agency (loumar) was helpful too.

Actually a full blown hotel. Basic rooms are indeed basic, but the cost for the upgrade to the more luxurious rooms is small, and worth for it for the A/C

I would recommend this hostel ONLY IF you splash out on one of the better double rooms - the room we had was a triple and had rising damp in the corner and the room stank! The beds were rank as well - sheets were scummy.
But, the location is really good and if you can get over all these things then it~s not a bad place for a night or two.
Oh - and the breakfast is really good!!!

Excellent location, seconds from the bus station. Great air conditioning, which is much needed in Foz! Actually a hotel not a hostel, so great value for money. Good selection at breakfast too.

The hostel has a high standard of hygiene which I was most impressed by. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times. There was a wide variety of food for the breakfast also. I had a very relaxed comfortable stay there and would highly recommend it.

The staff were very helpful and English speaking. Excellent breakfast in the modern dining room. Very close to bus station and the centre of the town.

Very close to the ´local´bus terminal, where the buses from puerto iguassu/ciudad del este stop, but nowhere near the international bus terminal where buses to the rest of brazil stop. very clean. definately more of a boutique hotel than a hostel. guys on reception/travel agency very helpful and good with english. no hot water though. book through hostelbookers as is cheaper than at reception. cheap food 200 metres down the road at lebanese shawarma place! 75p for a chicken/falafel kebab!
