Liked: One of the best hostels I've stayed at. More like a retreat. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Beautiful, open layout. Wonderful staff. On one night, I hung out all evening with Asucao (probably misspelled) chatting and drinking mate; the next, I was too late for the free bus, but I ran into Alexander on the street and he showed me a cool backwoods shortcut for getting to the hostel. And there's a pool! And free laundry! In a barn!!

Disliked: The breakfast was underwhelming. And I admit, if you don't time it perfectly for the free bus, it's a long walk if you have a lot of stuff, but it's actually closer to the airport and the Falls than the hostels in town, and its remoteness is what allows it to be the way I described above. Well worth it.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is far away from town, but that´s the best part. So quiet and the stars at night are incredible. Great breakfast in the morning too. I´d definitely recommend it to others!

Disliked: The distance did put a small damper on things but I found the walk refreshing.

Liked: The location is just wonderful.

Disliked: The hostel is a bit far from everything, consequently, it is difficult to contract prices for taxis, tours, etc.: it seems that there is an agreement between the hostel and the tours and taxi organization, the price thay ask for excursions is high and there is no way to lower it. And trying to catch a taxi on your own is impossible because you are in the middle of nowhere.

Liked: The stuff was friendly and efficient. It is a beautiful and quiet place in comparision with Foz de Iguaçú.

Disliked: The sheets of the room, very old. In general, the room could be better.

Liked: Friendly and welcoming staff. Great breakfast.

Disliked: The hostel is a bit in the middle of no where and although there is a free bus its a sporadic and un predictable when it actually comes. Some hot water in the showers and curtains on the windows of the dorm room would have made the stay alot more pleasant, particularly as at night it was freezing cold.

Liked: everything! very friendly helpful staff, rooms are immaculate and so are bathrooms. Hot shower 24/7 and breakfast is simply delicious. Highly recommended.

Liked: The lake, the nature (trees, animals etc.) surrounding you, the pool table, the breakfast with lots of fruits, the staff friendliness.

Disliked: The garbage has not been taken out of our room for 3 days, the swimming pool seemed badly-mantained and they didn't offer juice in the breakfast. The hostel was almost empty due to the low season, so I can't tell much about its atmosphere and fun.

Liked: More character than any place nearer town. Great spot once you're there, recommended taking a taxi if late at night, but I felt safe walking from the main road at night. Very helpful staff, arranged a great tour and transfer to Argentina! great breakfast in the best spot, was the best breakfast I had in Brazilian hostels.

Disliked: Just getting there, worth it tho.

Liked: Its relative remoteness from the city, which encouraged people to stick around on the hostel property, allowing travelers to chat with each other/make new friends.

Disliked: Front desk staff could be a little bit terse, but overall was still quite good.

Liked: This hostel was very out of the way, down a long drive off the main road to the airport. This gave it a very idyllic setting and a resort-like feel. The two staff on hand on the night we were there were very helpful with a good grasp of english, not to mention the awesome caipirinhas that Fernando makes! We really with we could have stayed longer as it seemed like a very laid back and relaxing place, though still good to let loose with a couple of drinks if one was that way inclined.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: Everything. You realy feel very comfortable and safe in this Hostel. When you relax on the hammock you just feel in heaven. It´s a very peacefull place. Best Hostel I have ever been!

Disliked: It´s a little bit far from the mainroad. It takes aboout 20 min. to get there. But it´s still worth it!!!!

Liked: Amazing location in the middle of nowhere, beautiful setting with trees, lakes, horses, chickens...great bar and amazing food. Really nice bathrooms and clean dorm rooms. Good air con. Staff are excellent - really nice, welcoming and helpful. We did the tour to the Argentine side of the falls - quite expensive but worth it as we had a guide for the whole day who was great.

Disliked: Location is difficult to find - worth it in the end but a taxi might be needed from the bus station. The hostel does NOT accept credit cards so bring plenty of cash with you - there are no ATMs close unless you go to the airport or the falls, a bus ride away. The bus from the main road to the hostel is NOT free - costs R$2.40. Kitchen is not great, but is clean.

Liked: The rooms were very clean, the staff very nice, and a great relaxed atmosphere. Good showers! Nice breakfast.

Disliked: The location, very difficult to get to from the bus station or airport unless you are okay taking cabs everywhere (which we ended up having to do).

Liked: Un bout de paradis sur Terre..... it feels like time just had stop after a long day out at the waterfalls. The staff was extremely helpful, it's a good choice to take part of the tour to go on the Argentinian side (short waiting time for the visa and don't need to look which bus you have to take etc.). Had the best Caipi's ever (Green lemon just picked off the tree). Breakfast and the buffet was very nice. Had the best stay in Brazil :)

Disliked: The Bus connection to the main road. 16:01, 17h29 then the last one at 19:19. Should be a few more when everyone is getting back from the falls. We missed the one at 17h29 so we had to walk the road (20 min) it's was safe. We were surprised that the locals we passed by (bike or sitting in their gardens) were so friendly by saying hello to us.

Liked: The nicest hostel we staid in in brazil; great place to relax, nice rooms, extremely helpfull and professional staff who speak excellent English, organised a good tour to the argentina side of the falls. Meals were excellent, and also good value for money. If you need a place to stay on the Argentinian side, you can use their hostel as well. We wanted a trip to the argentinian side of the falls, and then go on to buenos aires by Bus. We dit the tour, they dropped us off in their hostel in argentina, where the bus tickets were organised and ready, and we could shower, have a beer, get pesos around the corner and walk in time to the bus station just 2 blocks away. What a great service!
