Liked: This was by far the greatest hostel we have stayed in and i dont think we will find anything to match it. A beutiful quiet, clean and cheap hostel, we felt like we were staying at a friends house more than a hostel. It is in the niceset area of Florianopolis... close to shops, bars, beaches... everything you need. Tamara behind the desk during the day was very helpful and kind and Marina of an evening will mix you a up a mean caprihina... she was also a fabulous tour guide, portugese teacher and friend! Great breakfast with real coffee and amazing fresh fruit. Very clean toilets and facilities and very comfortable bedding. Scerene surroundings... great place to chill in the hamocks and nurse a hangover. Its a must!

Liked: Friendly helpful staff especially Maty, she was always in a buoyant helpful mood.A bit cheaper than other hostels in the area & a bit closer to the town (where most of the action in Floripa is). Free brief use of the computer. Reasonable communal atmosphere.

Liked: Lovely hostel, very relaxed and friendly. The staff couldnt be more helpful, it is absolutely spotless. Very well stocked kitchen. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but the buses are very frequent if your feeling lazy.

Liked: hostel was absolutely lovely as were the staff running the hostel. bathrooms were spotless and rooms were pretty nice. hostel was in the centre of lagoa concericao. the only reason that I would not return is that I would prefer to stay right on the beach

Liked: The breakfast is very good everyday. The location of the hostal is perfect, close to the lake and the beaches, also from a bus terminal. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The services offered in the hostal are very good, specially the Wi-Fi.

Liked: This hostel has very friendly staff and a nice location, away from the busy streets for it to be quiet, but close enough to stroll to on an evening. Lovely breakfasts and nice rooms.

Liked: As it has some rules, like not making noise after 11:00 PM and not taking bavarage into the rooms, it was really calm.

Liked: The staff were exceptional it is a mother and daughter run establishment and they are always happy to answer any queries you may have. The breakfast was delicious fresh fruit, bread, jam, avacado and cake as well as fresh juice.

Liked: Nice breakfast and nice atmosphere. Very clean and the staff is really helpfull. Good location to get started if you also want to discover other parts of the island.

Liked: I really enjoyed the stay in casa brazil. This hostel has just opened and is managed by one family. this explains the friendly and relaxed atmospheare. I loved the green yard outside with the hamocks, the homemade bred, corn and cakes we got and the patience answering all my question on what to do, bus schedules... I really recommend this place it was one of the best during my two month trip.
