Nice hostel, good breakfast, nice staff but there was a bad smell in the double room (due to the humidity as it was raining).

Tucano House was an amazing place to stay. We had a wonderful time during our stay and I must say, Tucano house was the highlight of our time in Brazil. The Island and the beaches in Floripa were without comparison, and Tucano was the icing on the cake. Friendly staff, amazing accommodations, family like atmosphere, all young people, safe area, plenty to do, great bars and clubs (make sure you check out Sunday night Samba!!), all this made for an amazing finale to an awesome trip to Brazil. If you go to Brazil you have to visit Floripa, and you stay in Floripa, it better be at Tucano!!

this has been the best hostel Ive stayed at so far. The owners and staff have been wonderfully warm and friendly and the hostel itself has a great vibe . The place is set in an ideal location on this sub tropical paradise, and is immaculatly clean, with a fantastic breakfast! Thankyou for making my trip to brazil special.

The brother and sister who ran the place were awesome. So friendly and helpful. Also, really good breakfasts with lots of delicious fruit. Great place to stay.

Absolutely amazing brother and sister duo who own this hostel which used to be the family home. Breakfast was fantastic, the bar even better and the people friendly. They always went the extra mile and it felt more like your home than just another hostel. The rooms were great beds clean and new lots of facilities including an extremely well equipped kitchen and TV room with DVD and movies. Lots of ideas for ina and around Florianopolis which they made themselves.

The staff were really friendly, all the other people were really nice, and there was a real homely atmosphere. It was quite central on the island and there was a good breakfast.

The brother and sister team that run this hostal are super cool. I stayed during Carnaval and they arranged events and were extremely knowledgable about the island. Would highly recommend.

this was a great place to stay and meet people. Caio and Marilia are great funand very accomodating and even when there was torrential rain for 2 days it was still fun. I stayed for 2 extra days and i would definitely stay again

The staff are amazing... so friendly and really get involved with everything going on at the hostel. The facilities are also great... cool hammocks and great FREE internet. Caio also makes the meanest caipirinhas!

The atmosphere in the hostel is really great. The staff always do whatever they can to make you feel at home and to help you find places to have fun, witch is not that hard, since the city is amazing. The people you get to know there are really awsome and it´s hard not to get this "family" feeling and leave the place wishing to have the chance to catch up with everyone later on.

The facilities are grest and there is avery relaxed atmoshphere here. But most imporantly, the staff are amazing and so helpful!

Wicked young staff that have aslo travelled, will help with anything.
BBQ's....easy way to meet new people.
Super Clean.
Doesnt feel like a boring hostel, feels like a holiday home with a bunch of new friends.
Easy going hassel free place.
