 With out a doubt the best place we have stayed in our 5 months travelling south america! Worth every penny. Everything at the hostel was perfect; really helpfull staff, amazing breakfast, great & clean rooms, close to nice beach and supermarkets, nice clean pool, nice quiet relxing place, not for party people really. Stay here if you get a chance its awesome!

This hostel is excellent and of a very high standard! The hostel is exceptionally clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful, we only stayed one night but we would have loved to have stayed longer if the weather had been better for us! The breakfast is excellent with a range of food such as fruit, bread, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea etc. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the hostel as are restaurants, bus stop and the local supermarket! if you are looking to chill out by the pool/beach and want a lovely relaxing stay this is the place to be! Staff are very friendly, speak english and very helpful with everything!! The best place we stayed in S America in 2 months very much recommended!!

Great guest house and hostel. The most helpful staff we have encountered in 2 months in South Am and fantastic comfortable rooms with great facilities. Great place to recouperate and relax by the beach with really fantastic, friendly helpful owners. Loved our stay and highly recommend this place.

THis hostel was run by a family who could not do enough for me. They were so kind and helpful.I slept very soundly here and it was quite and peacful, exactly what i was looking for. spotlessy clean and a great breakfast. Not a party place, A sanctuary of peace!

The staff at this pousada where amazing to us . They went way beyond the call of duty which was great. Why?
Early check in and very late check out.
Drove us to dinner and to the bus station.
Told us how to get from A to B.
Rang over 10 bed and breakfasts for our onward travel.
Lovely people.
Highly Recommended.

This pousada was superlative in every regard. The family is warm, friendly, helpful, and kind. Aline was incredibly informative and hospitable -- she speaks excellent English, which is very useful since few people speak any at all in Brazil. We were treated like honored guests, and the accommodations were lovely, beyond our expectations. We had a kitchen, hot water, tv, and clean, comfortable bed. Santinho, the broad beautiful beach is a two minute walk away -- this part of the island is relatively quiet, but a 5 minute bus ride takes you to the more developed and active area of Ingleses. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed while traveling, in Brazil or anywhere else.

The family there were so friendly and helpfull and couldn´t do enough for us. The room and faciliteis were fab and so clean. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was hot and powerful! The breakfast was a real treat with freshly cooked scrambled aggs and freshly made cake which was still warm YUM! A real treat of a hostal!

I had a great time staying here and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else wanting to visit the island. The family went out of there way to make sure the holiday was not just good but great. Deservedly this hostel / pousada rates highly with other hostel-booker customers.

Never else have we seen hospitality like this! The hosts were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The breakfasts were great, the room was lovely.
The location is ideal for someone who wants to relax, go for nature walks, swim - it's not a party town though.

We liked everything about this hostel. The family who run it are very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect - just a few minutes from a beautiful beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. We really enjoyed our few days and would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay

This pousada is excellent. The family that run the place are very friendly & always go out of their way to help you. Our room was excellent, nicely furnished & exceptionally clean. the outside area is nicely set out with a pool. The breakfasts were excellent. The pousada is in an ideal location & the best in the area. It is 5 minutes walk to a beautiful beach. It is in a nice quiet area but with plenty of local shops & food places in walking distance. It is just a 5 minute bus ride into the larger town of Ingleses. A BBQ was organised on 1 night with the family & other guests which was a nice gesture. If we go back to Santa Catarina we will definitely stay there again & hopefully for longer than a week next time.

This hostel offered a welcome family environment. It was very clean and secure. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was like staying over at a friends house. Aline, one of the owners was available at all times and helped us guide our exploration of Florianopolis to the best of her ability. It was a wonderful experience and we will hopefully be back to visit! THANK YOU POUSADA ATOBA :)

Overall one of the nicest places iv stayed so far. The rooms were very comfortable, and cleaned everyday which is quite refreshing.
The pool was nice but with the beach so close that was our preferred choice. Breakfast were amazing, consisting of food other than cheese and bread. fresh yogurt and cereal was a nice change.
Its worth the extra journey, and helpful being at the end of the bus route on returning to the main bus station - i wouldnt be put off that this isnt on the east side as the beach was beautiful, and even on the weekend the beach didnt feel crapped. Strong waves for the surfers. Supermarket very very close for the self caters. Great place thank you xx

This hostel was so perfect for us - a couple who wanted to chill out on the beach, cook meals, relax by the pool, go exploring, catch buses to other towns if desired and most of all have someone who speaks English to help us out. This place was a marvel and great location for Praia santinho & Praia Ingleses and Praia Mozambique. The family were so friendly & incredibly helpful and even did a bbq for us one night -all for no extra charge. The breakfast are great and at a good time 8-10am. Our chalet felt like a home, such a change from living in dorms/doubles complete with sofa & complete kitchen & washing line for no extra cost. Great value for money and we wish we hadnt booked our bus tickets to go, as we wanted to stay longer. Thankyou Alina and your parents x

This is the best accommodation that we have stayed in in South America. The family that run the bed and breakfast are very friendy, extremely helpful, kind and speak excellent English. The breakfast is excellent and so is the location (5 minute walk to beautiful beach). A great find...definitely one to choose!!!!

The hostel had a family atmosphere. Very clean and we felt very safe. Beautiful surroundings aswell. The beach is close as well, a good place to chill out and relax.

this hostel is located in the northen side of florianopollis, it´s a quiet place 5 minutes walk from the beatch. the feeling from the owners are like family! and there is buses for all over the city. it´s good price for what you get in this hostel.
