Pousada Vila Tamarindo, with its beautiful view of the ocean, is a place where you sleep with the sound of the waves. Our pousada offers the type of comfort and relaxation that can only come from the tranquil and natural beauty of Florianópolis. Within our 3,500m2 of gardens, we offer different types of accommodation to attend to the diverse needs of our guests. You will also find special areas to relax – such as our pergola covered by sweet-smelling flowers accompanied by the sounds of a burbling spring.
We are located in a privileged spot at the heart of the island – less than 10 minute walk from Campeche beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Florianópolis. It’s easy to get to us from any part of the island. We are 6km from Conceição lagoon (one of the islands favorite post-card locations) and 16km from the city center. Our neighboring beaches are Armação and Morro das Pedras to the south, and Joaquina and Mole to the North.
During the morning, we offer a delicious and diversified breakfast buffet, with products made at the Pousada. These include: several types of bread; cake; yoghurt; sweets; cheese bread and much more. Upon your return from the beach or daytime outing, there’s nothing better than enjoying the ocean views from the pool-deck, or relaxing in the hammock in the shade of the trees. Or, if you prefer, we can arrange for a relaxing professional massage in your suite. Our Pousada also offers private parking, laundry services and coffee shop. We can also arrange all kinds of Island tours, car rentals, ecotourism activities and boat outings.
The staff at Vila Tamarindo are concerned with giving good, quality service, and attend to all of our guests with a gentle touch.
Our apartments have been designed to give natural ventilation.
With opposite windows creating air currents and in addition our luxury suites have high ceilings inside the rooms, giving agreeable thermal sensations.
