Liked: It's not really a hostel, it's actually a pousada that I guess uses up inventory by selling cheaply online through Hostelbookers. So in terms of meeting people or having fun, you might want to look elsewhere. In saying that, the pousada is quite pretty and it's quiet. The owner Viviana is really nice and helpful.

Disliked: It's a good 20 minute walk to town and 10 or so to the nearest beach. It's pretty out of the way! Also, as it's a pousada, not a hostel, there's not much info on display about tours and things. Breakfast was a bit boring, same old cheese and ham roll everyday, but the juice is good!

Liked: It was very clean, safe and the staff were really lovely. The breakfast was amazing.

Disliked: I didn't like having to ring the doorbell every time we came and left - it got pretty annoying.

Liked: Very good cheap option in Buzios. More like a hotel. Perfect for couples, not good to meet people as it is very small. Clean rooms and 15 mins from main part of town.
