With the concept of Harambaša Hostel, its young founders have brought a type of youth tourism to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is common practice throughout Southeast Asia, when the talk is about "paradise in your vicinity feeling" and Anglo-American countries when it is about professionalism and comfort.

Excellent value and extremely affordable, instead of curfews and 8 to 14 bed-dorms. Harambaša Hostel is an embodiment of an original backpackers hostel. Facilities are shared among guests in order to experience intercultural exchanges unlike sterile concrete hotels. Harambaša Hostel’s 250 m² garden is a good example for that. Here, guest may socialize with fellow wanderers or enjoy collective concerts, barbecues or theme nights.

Services like: hiking, rafting, wine and heritage tours are offered to our guests and are primarily carried out by local tourist agencies partners or city tourist boards.

Harambaša Hostel offers room for 20 people.
2 six-room dormitories,
2 double rooms and
1 four-room dormitory.

Both double rooms feature a toilette and separate entrances, giving the guests more privacy and increasing the appeal to traveling couples.

Trebinje itself is clearly structured and most points of interest, including Harambaša Hostel, are within a 15 minute walking distance. If you feel like taking a cab, it should cost you only 2 € and last about 5 minutes. The address is Obala Mica Ljubibratica 50 (Obala Mitcha Ljubibraticha). It is located 2 km from the hydroplane Trebišnjica. (Brana in Serbian) Electricity and water is supplied by this same hydroplane ensuring eco-friendly energy.

For the dormitories two communal bathroom are available, making the guest/bathroom ratio above average. All bathrooms have 24hr hot showers.

The guests share a communal kitchen where they may enjoy open air breakfasts and use the facility at their disposal.

Harambaša Hostel is located in Trebinje in the Donje Police district. The Hostel is situated right on the Trebišnjica river. Trebinje itself is a pleasant riverside town in South Herzegovina. Most points of interest, including Harambaša Hostel, are within a 15 minute walking distance.
