Liked: The "Hostel Hayat" consist in a few nice apartment located right behind the "Hotel Hayat" where they'll check you in. 5 min from pidgeon square, quite easy to find. Value for money. (Sarajevo is a wonderful city)

Disliked: They did not registered our reservation, but luckily they had a free room.

Liked: The location was good, just few meters away from the old town.

Disliked: The staff was unfriendly and arrogant. Beds were very unconfortable.

Liked: It felt more like a hotel, which was a great surprise. The ensuite bathroom was really nice.

Disliked: The staff weren't too helpful. The directions to get there were terrible. The lights in the hallway and outside the windows were very bright.

Liked: this is a hotel, not a hostel. the room was spacious and clean with ensuite facilities. it's five mins uphill from the center

Disliked: this is a hotel, not hostel, so if you want to meet other people dont stay there. if you want to relax it's ok.

Liked: The location was only a short walk to the old town and the price was reasonable. Some of the staff was very helpful.

Disliked: While everyone was friendly, some staff seemed less knowledgeable. We asked about getting laundry cleaned and later about transportation to train station and in both instances, we had to ask a different person the next day to get any information as the one person didn't seem to know much about the services they had available. It also would have been really nice to have a shower curtain! I find it difficult to not get water all over the floor when using a shower without a curtain but maybe that's just me...

Liked: The desire to maintain good hostel services or repairs.

Disliked: Subjective feeling is impossible to estimate the number egzatnom, always.For example, to my hostel provided replacement money would enable me to spend money on other services that the hostel offers.

Liked: Excellent location; two minutes walk into the centre. Helpful staff. I was put into the hotel rather than the hostel which was good, but the bathroom has a very low sloping ceiling that means you have to squat to have a shower. The hotel is recommended and is good value for money, but the shower experience did annoy me somewhat.

Liked: Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great location! Nice view from room window.

Disliked: We had our room on the top floor, so it had a low roof, also in the bathroom. But the window above the bed made it possible to watch the stars- which I loved!

Liked: Excellent hotel.The staff are really friendly and helpful.The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxed and the service is so much more personal than in some of the more corporate/souless places you could stay in.Admittedly the rooms are small but well furnished with comfy beds and a great power shower in the bathroom.Everywhere was spotlessly cleanBrilliant value for money .Will definitely return when on future trips

Liked: Good location and relatively cheap with friendly staff.

Disliked: Very difficult to find and the room wasn't great. Shower rail had fallen down in the bathroom leaving no curtain around the shower. Worse still there were wires hanging out of the wall adjacent to the shower. Also main light wasn't working in the bedroom and never got fixed despite promises from staff.

Liked: The parking and location were spot on.

Disliked: It wasnt clean and a few things were broken in the room and had not been fixed, such as the windows not locking.

Liked: Very good location, less than 5mn away from the old town (although you have a steep slope to climb back), room and bathroom were clean.The bathroom was spacious and well equiped and the staff were friendly, plus we were able to park the car near the hotel.

Disliked: The room itself had very little free space, most of it was occupied by the huge bed. We only managed to have internet access in the hotel lobby, we also connected in the room but it didn't work. If you happen to stay at the hotel, there is no elevator, alhough it has only one floor so it's not a big problem

Liked: This hostel is spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location in Sarajevo. Sheets and towels changed every day, and because the hostel is actually part of the hotel, you can avail of all the hotel's facilities and reception is 24 hour. I don't normally backpack or stay in hostels so I would recommend this for young backpackers and older weekend travellers as well!
