Liked: it was very clean and the location was pretty nice.

Disliked: It was a room in an apartment block building. We could only use the room and the bathroom, no fridge, no kitchen, no WIFI. The owner was a bit weird. Very friendly until we gave him the money, and all down hill from there. Btw, you pay upfront and have to leave your ID.

Liked: It was cheap

Disliked: Everything. They are like an enemy of us. When we want to sleep the owner of the hostel volume up the music and we couldnt sleep well. Also there are lots of rules that we shouldnt do in the room. This was like a military.

Liked: When I saw how cheap this accommodation was, I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised! It is very clean and I felt very safe in this hostel. The owners are very friendly and talkative, and will give you pointers on where to go and what to do in the city. I definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Sarajevo!

Disliked: They have a winter flat [with heating!] that is very close to the Main Bus Station so it is a little bit of a walk to the main city center. However, you are very close to all the museums and some malls with grocery stores and wifi so it's a pretty good location!

Liked: The very friendly and solicitous hosts made us feel very welcome in Sarajevo. It was one of the best hostels we have ever been to. The hostel is very, very clean, well organized and very save for female travelers. The free bus-station is really great and we had been very thankful for it, because it is not that easy to orientate in Sarajevo in the beginning. Along the way we want to especially thank the hosts for many interesting conversations, impressions and new ideas that we have taken with us. We hope to take in the future as many positive impressions of hosts and hostels. But we do not believe that it can be even better. We thank you very much!

Disliked: That we could not stay longer, because we had to fly home :).

Liked: L'ostello si trova su una collina molto vicina al centro della città (diciamo 10 minuti a piedi in salita, 5 in discesa) le stanze sono spaziose e pulitissime. I proprietari sono un padre (che parla pochissimo inglese) e due fratelli (che invece parlano un inglese perfetto) sono molto disponibili anche nel dare indicazioni per le visite in città, e sono svegli 24\24 ore per aprire i cancelli.

Disliked: Non viene fornita la chiave della porta esterna e si deve citofonare, il letto "matrimoniale" consisite in realtà in due letti singoli con materassi singoli semplicemente avvicinati.

Liked: The size if twin room was impressive and it was incredibly clean. The host spoke perfect english and was a very intelligent and informed man on both Bosnia and Sarajevo.

Disliked: There was nothing negative about the property. The only comment I would make is if you are making your own way instead of utilising the free pick up, then the hill to the hostel is quite arduous with backpacks. However the views on the way do go some way to compensating.

Liked: Best thing about this hostel is it's owner- talks a lot :) He told us some interesting things about Sarajevo during a war.

Liked: You get an authentic experience by staying at this hostel. It is clean and close enough to the center. Friendly and helpful staff.

Liked: Staff was really friendly, they took me from the raylwaystation by car, room was clean and they spoke fluently english.

Disliked: Bathroom for shared room was really wery small.

Liked: The staff was amazingly friendly and chatty, the rooms and the bathroom were cleaned just before our arrival.

Disliked: The house is quite uphill, but nothing to worry about :)

Liked: Very clean and good priced. free pick up. friendly staff. recieved free maps of the area and places to visit. Relatively spacious and quiet.

Disliked: pick up was not from the station but from the a back street near the station (the casino in front of holiday inn) about 5 mins walk away. Pickup was in a very old renault with an 80 yr old driver. car had no seatbelts or door handles. dodgy suspension. Dodgy backstreet area for the hotel. The ensuite turned out to be a shower room rather than bathroom with shower.

Liked: the driver was very kind

Disliked: the head of the hostel should think that he is in the army. The rules of the hostel should be on the site of e-booker because between some hours, it is not possible to go out or in. The doublebed was really one and half only and the bedsheets to small.

Liked: Free station pickup was useful and the hostel was cleaned every day. We didn't have our own key but this meant that only people staying at the hostel could come in as we had to ring a bell, and on the whole it felt quite safe.

Disliked: There were lots of facilities such as kitchen and laundry which were expensive to use, so in the end not worth it (it would have been more expensive to cook our own food than eat out in Sarajevo). Also, our dormitory was effectively a large landing with 5 beds in it - we had space but no door! Boys or groups of boys are not allowed for safety, but the owner didn't seem to think that girls would ever make trouble...

Liked: It was clean.

Disliked: The people that run the place are pretty weird. There isn't really access to a fridge, and they lock the outer door so you have to get escorted in and out all the time. The rooms are clean, but mostly the place is pretty uncomfortable feeling.

Liked: Positives: Extremely friendly and helpful staff (free pick-up from train station--recommended in Sarajevo!), good location, very secure. Bedroom was v. clean and bathroom was spotless. A better place to stay than the old town, although the old town is very easy to get to!

Disliked: Negatives: the lockout from 10 till 5 was a bit inconvenient at times but I guess it made the hostel considerably more secure . . .

Liked: Amazing hosts! We had some bad luck in Sarajevo, but our hosts were extra kind to us. Very clean and secure place just up the hill from the old town. We stayed in the twin rooms which were clean, new and very nice. Would most definitely stay there again! Thanks!MC2K, Vancouver, Canada

Liked: Location and bathroom and tv in the room.

Disliked: The attitude of the owner left me cold. While being courteous on the surface, we got the distinct impression he was talking about us with his collegues in a derrogitory manner. While checking out in the morning, there was a nasty attitude as if we had disturbed his beauty sleep.
