Liked: it is cheap, n they do cleaning

Disliked: it is okay to warn ppl but the paranoid owners make me feel very insecure and uncomfortable abt sarajevo. indeed, sarajevo is not a dangerous place. another thing is.. they do not provide left lugguage, or u pay 2-3euro.

Liked: The hostel is very clean. One member of the staff was very kind and simpatic (el hostal está bastante limpio. un miembro del hostal era muy amable y simpático)

Disliked: Está un poco lejos. Dos miembros del staff eran poco amables (tirando a antipáticos). Normas muy estrictas. Cobran por todo. No había organización. En los cuartos de baño no había ni jabón ni toallas ni pasta de dientes. Te obligan a quitarte los zapatos para entrar. It´s a little far of the Center. Tow Staff´s members were few kind (disagreeable). Estric rules. They charge ofr everything. There´s no organization. In the bathrooms there were no soap, towells or thooth paste. You have to take off your shoes to entry the hostel.

Liked: It was much better than I expeted. really great experience - I was acomodated in a single room in a flat together with 2 other pepople who went to the festival, and it felt a bit like leaving there in your own apartment. The staff is wanderfully sweet and helpful, pick you up for free, make sure you feel ok. the apartment is also very nice, even had my own bathroom and tv. only thing i might have missed- wireless internet. otherwisw simply perfect. if i ever go again to sarajevo, tower hostel most definitely...

Liked: If you weren't so tired, the ridiculous rudeness of the staff could be entertaining. It was meticulously clean to the point of that being more important than general customer service, if you're into that kind of thing.

Disliked: Don't worry if the circus isn't in town, kids, just book a night at Tower Hostel to witness the Freakshow. The owners send a long, ranting email about not trusting Sarajevo taxi drivers (load of crock) and promise to pick you up just outside the bus station. At 11pm, you realise the place they want to meet is 800m away diagonally opposite, behind some other buildings and miss the ride. When you finally find the place yourself, you get yelled at by the owners about how stupid you are for not following their "crystal clear" instructions. And then get yelled at again by the guy who was sent to pick you up. Apparently he drove past you and yelled "hostel" out the car window. Hot water not turned on, so no shower until the morning. 10euro just to use the kitchen. Rude, immature staff, we left first thing the next morning and went straight to Haris Youth Hostel which was wonderful!

Liked: The location of the hostel which is in the center of Sarajevo but real quiet place to rest. Very secure and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Liked: It was really something to stay at this hostel but hopefully it will look much better when the renovation is done. If you are preperd with not having a door to your room and having no windows the stay will be a bit better ;) But it had a good location and the staff was really nice so I guess you got what you pay for.

Liked: This was a great hostel, which really made me fall in love with Sarajevo ! The owner is very nice and helpful, he would do everything possible for you. The hostel is nice-located, even if you easily get lost in the narrow streets of the old turkish quarter ! Good athmosphere is contagious, and you can easily speak with other travellers !

Liked: only the location was ok. Just for people who really don't care where they'll sleep, because it was the cheapest possibility. But then I would recommand one of the ruins in the city, there's no difference and even cheaper.

Liked: the price-value relation even though you have to be careful with being late - your room will be given away fastthe owner is definitely special (though correct etc.) - experience yourself ;-)

Liked: often times when something on hostelbookers is very cheap, it is most likely too good to be true. tower accommodation was not a typical hostel but a very nice family's house run as a private accommodation. if you request the shared dorm, you will be sleeping in an unfinished part of their house. it is clean, taken care of and if you are ok with no privacy (in your room, shower, and toilet), then it is no problem. the father in the house is a VERY nice man, the gem of the entire stay i would say. i would recommend seeing the tourist office for tours and not signing on with Sartour tours only b/c the tour guide didn't seem very enthusiastic about giving us a tour. we were backpackers with no money that could only afford one hour and he seemed really annoyed by this. otherwise, this is a very nice family who depends on this family business to survive the rest of the year and staying with them is safe, clean and an experience.

Liked: We only paid 5 euros but were promised a lot more for that than what we got; a campsite would have been better value.The one thing that cannot be criticised is the location as it was only a short walk from Old town.

Liked: the best thing of the hostel is the friendly staff, and the free-of-charge pick up from the bus station, by a nice older man with an even older car from the times of former yugoslavia. the hostel has a good location, and the rooms are really clean. my friends and me had a great time there.
