Liked: I would definitely recommend this hostel to anybody who would like to enjoy the genuine hospitality of Sarajevo with the perfect view on the whole city ... oh yes, you have to climb a 'little' hill til you get to the hostel, but it's worth it.

Disliked: Danica left no negative feedback.

Liked: Best thing about this place is Harris. He is a nice, knowledgeable guy who will help you with anything and then sit down for a beer & sheisha. Good communal area and kitchen facilities, WiFi, and very secure.

Disliked: The hill is as bad as everybody says... but whats a little hardship to tough backpackers eh? Also Harris picked us up from the bottom with our bags when we first arrived so it wasn't a problem then. Don't walk the hill with your bags.

Liked: Great hostel run by a great guy in a great city. All the staff were brilliant and when you hear Haris' story you can really appreciate how good this hostel is. About 10min walk from the old city and although its a steep hill on the way back you soon get used to it and it is worth it for the view from the outdoor terrace. Was amazed at how much meat there was at the free Sunday BBQ - certainly not your average hostel meal size! Big kitchen and living room area great for meeting others in the evening. Would highly recommend Haris Tour which goes to areas of the city you otherwise couldn't reach. Slightly more expensive than many other hostels but worth the extra and then some.

Disliked: Only 2 bathrooms and 1 shower meant queues sometimes.

Liked: Helpful staff, quiet location out of town, terrace with nice views over Sarajevo, clothes lines in the sun and under cover (lots of places haven't even had a clothes line).

Liked: very welcoming, very easy to stay there because they help you with everything you may need. even though its a bit of a trek to get there (big hill!) its worth staying somewhere thats comfortable and friendly.

Liked: The people who run this hostel are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's quite a walk up the hill, but the view is totally worth it. Great place for socialising and meeting people. The tour Haris runs is excellent and great value for money.

Disliked: Most mornings there seemed to be a shortage of toilet paper. Apart from that I was really happy with this place.

Liked: Did look a bit boring when i entered the hostel, but it is a grat place to meet people, facilities are good and the staff is great. A bit out of the center, but close to the fortress on top that has a fantastic wiew of the city, day and night.

Disliked: You have to walk a very steep hill to get there.

Liked: Great place to stay when visiting Sajarevo. Haris is a fantastic host complimented by equally friendly and helpful staff. The place is clean and has a fantastic balcony overlooking the city. This well and truly mitigates the 10 minute walk up the hill from the town center. Be sure to jump of his tours when you stay there.

Disliked: Could have done with one more shower room.

Liked: Amazing place to stay! Harris is one hell of a dude and and excellent host. Hostel is close to city centre, has great facilities and an environment that is conducive to make loads of friends. DO HARRIS- TOUR!! Well worth the money!

Liked: Excellent hostel, I loved it. The common area/kitchen is really big and allows a confy place to stay.The location is amazing, might not be friendly for people who hates walking up hills, but still cool.Haris is a great dude, taking his tour is a must in Sarajevo, even people from other hostels do.

Liked: The laundry service is nice, but the location is quite aweful (at least the get you a taxi up the hill when you arrive). The place is really messy and the fact that there are people sleeping all over the common room doesn't create a nice atmosphere at all. Also, they tried to stuff as many beds into one room as possible which makes the air barely breathable (no air-con). Not a place I would stay at again!

Disliked: Dirty, messy, unorganized, profit-oriented.

Liked: Only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early so didn't have that much experience of it but was clean and comfortable with a good atmosphere.

Liked: I like the stuff, because they were very nice; we could a fantastic tour guide which we booked in the hostel.

Disliked: Maybe, the location, it's a bit far from the center; but you can go on foot.

Liked: Great atmosphere and a lot of cool travelers staying there. The tour offered by Haris is really good. Sarajevo's sites are a bit spread out, so tour makes it a lot easier to see things.

Disliked: Hostel is too far away from old town center, but walking up the hill gets old quick. Also, facilities aren't great. Beds are linens are old. Feels like you're staying in someone's garage for the weekend. If you want a more comfortable stay, I'd recommend trying another hostel and then just booking Haris' tour.

Liked: Staff were really lovely and helpful. Tours they offer were quite good. Great that they pick you up from the bus/train.

Disliked: Massive hill up to the hostel from the centre. But I imagine thats pretty unavoidable considering the city itself!!
