Liked: Great communal area, location, friendly staff and is good value for money, a great place to stay if you are travelling alone.

Liked: Excellent hostel. Perfect location. Friendly staff. Good facilities.

Disliked: Only 3 things bothered me (which says a lot more than you might think): 1. The need to take my boots off whenever I entered. Aside from find this annoying of itself, they did not provide something I could sit on while I removed my boots and I did not feel secure leaving expensive boots at the entrance where anyone with a size 43 foot might help themselves. 2. All water stopped running at midnight. Allegedly this had to do with some work on the pipes, but who would work on them after midnight and why was not there any noise? 3. A contingent of obnoxious Germans were really noisy for the last couple evenings and nothing was said to effectively discourage them from imposing their taste in sports and music on other guests who might just want to relax.

Liked: good location , friendly staff members, clean and fully equipped kitchen spacious sitting and dinner areas is a plus

Disliked: no cheese and wine party on Saturday night as advertised on the Hostelbookers web, lovely Asim said the party is given only during summer time, I think they should state this clearly on their ad. only 3 bathroom is certainly not enough in high season

Liked: Was great to have air con in the room. Nice clean rooms and bathroom. Common areas were a great place to chill out

Disliked: Only one bathroom/toilet for about 12 people. There needs to be at least a seperate toilet

Liked: incredibly friendly staff, located in the very center, clean and a lot of services offered (kitchen, "living room"..)

Disliked: no towels offered for the 10 bed dorm

Liked: location, common room was really nice,toilets and kitchen was good

Disliked: the staff wasn't so helpful when my friend was accused of breaking a door by another guest. They believed the other guest just because she was a girl.

Liked: Decent location, nice lounge area and free towells

Disliked: Atmosphere was pretty stuck up, staff weren't exactly delighted to impart advice. There's only a couple of bathrooms, so there is a big bottleneck in the mornings.

Liked: location is great, cool atmosphere.

Disliked: wasn't possible to do laundry, asked for it, were told to come back next day and the same thing happened the day after. Otherwise cool place.

Liked: I liked our private twin room, and that fact that we were right in the middle of the downtown.

Disliked: Even though the rules stated that people would be heavily fined if they smoked in their rooms, the staff (and I guess travellers too) smoked in the separate room and the smoke got out into the rest of the hostel and drifted up outside and then came in our window above. Once when I walked by the smoking room, on my way upstairs, the door to the room was wide open and someone (I am quite sure it was a staff member) was smoking in there. I closed it on them, but I was rather unhappy with their lack of consideration for others. Cigarette smoke is disgusting to many many people!! Our room was right above a very noisy bar.

Liked: This place was city centre so easy to get around. It was easy to socialise with other travellers as there was a huge dining room and another large tv room. Plus the kitchen was pretty spacious. Id recommend doing the Harris full day tour (18 Euro - it was brilliant - you can just book at reception)

Disliked: The staff were not overly friendly or helpful.. There was also only one bathroom (with toilet inside it) next to a 10 bed dorm and another room. There were other facilities in the hostel but it was kind of hard finding them. If you dont like steps this hostel is on the third floor.

Liked: Very central location, good clean rooms / bathrooms, generously spaced and chilled out living room, lots of comps to catchup with the world, and staff is very friendly

Disliked: The only negative aspect is the number of stairs to get to the hostel! otherwise perfect all round

Liked: Fantastic location just off the main shopping street (Ferhadija). Our private twin room had air conditioning which was very welcome after the stifling heat. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, and were happy to answer our questions about sights, trams and tours. There was a free cheese and wine night while we were there (all they ask for is a small donation towards the next night), which meant we met most of the other guests and had a really good night. There is free use of the internet in the reception area, and the kitchen and dining area are really nice. The bathrooms are also very clean and comfortable, and you can lock the door to the whole room when you have a shower, rather than just having a lockable shower cubicle. A great hostel in a great location - you should stay here.

Liked: Fantastic Location, Multiple Powerpoints and lamp over each bed, lots of computers, v clean

Disliked: Shortage of bathrooms, too few for no of people in hostel meaning ques, staff hit and miss in terms of friendliness and attitude, for example Azaz friendly, helpful and cheerful, same could not be said for Asim

Liked: Big common rooms, friendly staff, nice city tour in co-operation with another hostel, comfy bed, free wifi, good kitchen, nice athmosphere and a great location close to the center.

Disliked: Located on the top floor so climbing up the stairs with your luggage can be tough. No air-co in the dorm so at least at the 10 bed dorm it can be really hot. Some water problems with the toilets during the night. The smoke from the smoking room sometimes came to the common room as well.

Liked: Very clean. Very nice staff. Computers for use. Really helpful info about traveling accomodations and times to other locations outside of Sarajevo.

Disliked: The apartment was a little farther than we initially thought, but it was nice, clean, and safe.

Liked: It is a great place to meet people. The staff are super friendly. The location is excellent. The wine and cheese night was pretty great too. I booked for two nights and ended up staying for three.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Absolutely Everything. The owners of the property are very hospitable. Theres a fully functioning kitchen which is very clean. They have free wine and cheese and we got some watermelon that the owner purchased and let everyone enjoy. There are laptops with webcams for free and other computer kiosks. The rooms are very clean and the hostel is very well maintained. No problems at all. It is right in the center of the city and no problem in finding. Overall fantastic place to stay just book in advance.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: very friendly and welcoming staff, good vibe to the hostel and an overall very sociable place to be. a weekly cheese and wine night gives people within the hostel a chance to meet and socialise with other people within the hostel. knowledgeable staff were able to give advice about much of the city and suggested arranged tours taking in major historical and cultural highlights. did need some help setting up and maintaining the shisha though =)
