Liked: All modern furniture and it has a cosy feel. It was nice to have a good power shower even though it could have been a little hotter. Good kitchen facilities and really good location. The tour made it for us as our guide was fabulous and took us to a local bar he goes to which was a great way to end the day.

Liked: Fantastic location. Really close walking distance to everything you want - old town, bars, restaurants, sights as well as newer part with shopping center. We did a great tour from there, all day and lots of sights with a great guide, would thoroughly recommend. We were also there for the free wine and cheese night. It was a great night, lots of fun and a good way to meet people.

Disliked: Toilets were in the bathroom with the shower. Only four for the whole hostel so gets a bit busy at night and in morn. Smoking room is right next to lounge room and the door is always open. But there is another area you can sit in so is not too bad.

Liked: Good place to know people! the location is really good! They have nice ideas, for example there is a guitar in the living room, sometimes they organize something to meet people during nights. If you carry a heavy backpack, you have to know that the hotel is on the 3rd floor. It is also important to know that you have to take your shoes at the entrance, and that the stairs are right in font of it as you go out from the hostel!

Liked: The no shoe policy felt like I was living in my home. Big spaces. Wine and Cheese night = fun night.

Liked: Location! Location! Location! Smack bang in the heart of Sarajevo. All points of intrest are within an easy walking distance. Extremely easy to locate and only 5 tram stops from the rail/bus station, buy your ticket from driver or slighly cheaper from the small kiosk, and don't forget to validate it once onboard! On arrival there are a few steps to climb, but it's worth it once you get to the top floor, as with all Bosnian residence don't forget to remove your shoes before entering. What makes this place one of the best hostels ever is the staff, especially Asim and Hannah! The Dorms and bathrooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and they are maintained throughout the day. The reception is open 24/7 and the adjoining common room is the life and soul of Hostel City Centre, it's a great cosy and inviting space for meeting travelers and making new friends. It's also a place for those who just want to unwind and crash out on the sofas and just read a book or use one of the 4 free computers. There is a nice little kitchen for self caterers and a light and airy dinning area. The whole hostel seems to be covered by the free and reliable WiFi, which is an added bonus. I really enjoyed my stay at HCC, and I will be back. Stay here with confidence.

Disliked: The hostel was on a fourth floor with a spiral stair, and If it wasnt for the staff guy being a completely adorable gentleman and carrying my bag both up and down it would have been a hell of a task for any gal.

Liked: Location is great. Dorms are clean and not too cramped.

Disliked: The stairs! Dorms were pretty hot at night. Main lounge can be a bit smoky due to the people smoking on the deck outside

Liked: Clean, big bathroom. Nice dorms with lots of plug points n your own bed lamp. Cool and spacious social area (tv, playstation, guitar, laptops). Exuberant staff. Great location within city center.

Disliked: On third floor of building. No elevator.

Liked: They have a big nice commun room, you can watch movie, play nintendo and meet a lot of interesting people! Rooms are big, beds are confortable and the wifi connection was perfect!!

Liked: Very god location, helpful staff and cleanliness of the place in general.

Disliked: A bit noisy as it is located beside a lot of bars, but we expected it (god location often = noise of the city), and there are few bathrooms, like 3 or 4 for 40 guests (toilets and showers are in the same rooms so if you just wake up for a pipi it can become problematic at some point when it is shower time)

Disliked: It was a little expensive I thought after speaking to other people of what other places cost.

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful - I lost my bank card on the night I arrived, and they let me use the phone to call Australia to cancel it, called the taxi driver to look for it, etc. - and they were friendly and chatty too. The rooms were very clean, and the location excellent, right near the Turkish quarter.

Disliked: Thin walls. However, the only time this was a problem was not the hostel's fault - the pub downstairs played music until very late and I couldn't sleep. Perhaps I should've just gone out...
