Liked: The location is close to old town, despite the small hill to walk up, and is very good. There are several shops and bakeries close to the Hostel

Liked: The old town was really close! Just down the hill :) We we're so worried about the hill from the reviews, but when we got there, it was nothing! The people complaining must come from flat countries :) We had a pleasant stay and felt comfortable. The lady was very helpful.

Liked: modern and secure . proximity to the old town an asset although it's downhill all the way to the river , remember that it will be a steep uphill climb back to the hotel ! Miniparkets are studded along the way up , drop in for your supply of fruits , vegs and meat , catch your breath and head back up to the hostel , a kitchen is at your disposal . The coffee machine was broken but the rest of the appliances worked ok . Clean and confortable was our room , good bed and new furniture . pleasant place to stay really , would recommend it and we even plan to return next year ! A secure garage will keep your car off the street while you visit the city .

Disliked: Internet was not working and the view from the kitchen that could be great is blocked by a viaduct but you can walk onto that viaduct in less than 30 sec and enjoy the fabulous view from there though.

Liked: This is one of the best value for money places I have stayed at. The woman who works there is one of the hardest working staff members I have ever met and she helped me out with everything.

Liked: It's a very clean and brand-new place with great view (as it's almost on top of the hill). It's quite easy to find even if you drive in the night. The lady in charge is very helpful and very busy as she has to take care of everything by herself (should have a help, boss...).

Disliked: A very steep driveway to the hostel (last 50 m) - may be a bit scary for a driver. We had also some problems with water heater and unstable shower but the lady in charge helped us.

Liked: Very friendly staff! The house keeper is such a sweet lady, she attended to our every nrf and even called the taxi for us on the day of our departure! room was very clean and the free wi fi was a major plus.the place is definitely worth it..

Disliked: Place is on top of a steep hill, but this should not detract from the quality of the place.anyone complaining about this is probably fat and lazy, and the walk could do them good.toilets were a little neglected, but this is probably due to the poor house keeper having to do everything on her own.she definitely need s a raise! The hot water would not last very long during showering.

Liked: More like a hotel than a hostel, very clean and tidy. Rooms were very nice, large with lots of storage. Nice communal areas and spacious kitchen. Showers and bath were amazing. Housekeeper was very friendly and kept the place in an excellent condition. Views from the communal lounge were very nice. Only a short walk from the city centre so was in a nice quiet area. Best value for money out of all the hostels I've stayed at.

Disliked: The finish on some of the taps, plug sockets and showers is a bit poor. Some of the sockets pulled straight out of the wall and the turboshowers shook when you stoof in them.

Liked: Sarajevo itself was already a very good experience. But our stay at the MD apartments just made it perfect. The lady in charge was sooo helpful and organized taxis and food for us. If you are thinking about going to Sarajevo, stay in the MD apartments.

Disliked: Nothing. If you are afraid of the hill take a taxi. But it is a piece of cake

Liked: The owner is helpful and friendly and speaks good English. The bedrooms are good value, the property is quiet and fairly central.

Disliked: Yes, the hill up to the property is steep but other than the first time you walk up with your bags it is fine.

Liked: It was a nice place with a beutifull wiew of the city. It was fresh and clean. The stuff was really helpfull. And Sarajevo as a city is really nice!!!

Liked: We had an amazing weekend at MD. The host was so lovely and welcoming, always going the extra mile to help us out - it just would not have been the same without her! The rooms were clean and comfy, felt very secure, and the kitchen was well equipped with a lovely balcony thing where you could eat. Location is good, just a short walk down the hill to the old town centre, with nice bakerys and stores nearer by. Best value for money hostel we have ever stayed in. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Sarajevo.

Liked: Had our own room with private bathroom with a great shower. Room was great and excellent value for money. Really clean. We could use the communal kitchen and computer.

Disliked: Had to climb a big hill to the hostel. No real atmosphere or many other people there to talk to.

Liked: This place is excellent for what you Pay for it - more like a hotel than hostel. It's up a hill which can be a bit tiring (especially given how hot Bosnia gets) but that only makes for great views. The housekeeper was excellent - we arrived early and she let us into our room straight away rather than making us wait until the afternoon. She was also really helpful and informative on things about Sarajevo, for example gave us info on public transport. There is a good kitchen too. I would recommend anyone staying in Sarajevo to stay here, it was great!

Disliked: The hill!! But the views were amazing so once you had made it up it didn't matter. Maybe the rooms could do with a fan too as Sarajevo was very humid when we were there...

Liked: It is rather a hotel than hostel and it's definitely value for money. The lady who manages the place is extremely helpful and caring. The view from the terrace is worth walking up the hill, which is a disadvantage only first time, then it's not that scary anymore :)

Liked: The staf is kind and helpful. Enterior is beautiful and furniture is new and excelent. The hostel is roomy. Tha bathrooms are amazing. I would recomend it teveryone. It is close to wowntown as well.

Disliked: It was a bit hard to get in because it seemed like it is hard to get from the entrance to the hostel rooms.

Liked: Good communication via SMS to arrange arrival and departure (we were picked up from the bus station). We were given a great-big-private room with balcony and a massage-bathroom (they even apologised for not having a jacuzzi for us) Clean and silent. Very nice views from the kitchen to have your own breakfast while seeing Sarajevo! So great value for money.

Disliked: The location is great if you do not mind to walk 15min up the hill (good for exercise your legs) and such a relief when going down :)

Liked: This place was more like a hotel,total bargain! The lady that ran the place was lovely very helpful.

Disliked: We did not like arriving at 11pm off a train from mostar and not being picked up and noone answering the door when we arrived, very frustraing when you have been travelling!
