Liked: first of all the guest rose is very close the basçarsi(stari grad). you can walk in a 5 minutes. the staff is very helpful, espescially i thank to SAMIR. the room that we stayed is very clean and all have you can wanted. the price is very good for this place. i offer everyone.

Liked: We were picked-up at the bus-station by the owner who speaks fluently German and hoe told us a lot about life in Sarajevo. To us this was special because you don't get the chance to talk about that very often. Daughter and one son (we did not meet the other) speek fluently English, so communicating was easy. The family was very helpful and also gave us a ride to the bus-station when we left (we gave them money for that because we otherwise had to take a taxi or tram). The house we stayed at was in a quiet area and just a short walk away from the old town of Sarajevo.

Liked: We arrived into Sarejevo from Zagreb on the 9 hour day train that turned into 12 hours. Needless to say we were a bit frazzled. However, we got picked up by the friendly staff from the train station and once we were in our room, a aura of calm instantly surrounded us. The gratis Bosnian Coffee were given on arrival helped! The guest house was clean, fresh, in a great location and basically an Oasis. In terms of value for money this is the best hostel/guest house I have ever been too. In all honesty, the price should actually be more!!

Disliked: Nothing really. Location is up a relatively big hill or steps which may be hard for the less able but nothing a tax cannot help

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Rose.We were met at the bus station and taken to the guesthousr(about 10 min drive) It would have been 5 euro by taxi.We were offered refreshments on arrival.Our room was very clean with ensuite and small sitting area. We had the use of a small but functional kitchen.There was about a 6 minute walk down some steps to the old town.The family were very friendly and hospitable and as the son and daughters speak very good English they were heplful in answering our questions.Selma(eldest daughter also speaks several other languages.We would recommend this guesthouse to other tavellers and would definitely stay there again.it was good value for money.

Liked: Fabulous place to stay. We were picked up from the bus station and had a fantastic view from our balcony over Sarajevo. The city was a fantastic place to visit. The accommodation was in the owner's house, but was very private. We were given coffee and a cake on arrival. Would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Fantastic location - so close to the old town, just a 2min walk away. The rooms are small and basic, and the owner's family lives below - but it had everything we needed for a short stay in Sarajevo. The ensuite bathroom was decent and we had a cute balcony which gave us an amazing view of the old town. Loved our stay - different from the usual hotel stay, it was more personal :)

Liked: the greatest place. and the greatest New Year ever. We found the Guest house Rose easily, the people were very nice and friendly and helped us with information we asked for. They let us park our car just in front of the house, so it was safe there. the place was nice and clean and just 5 minutes away from the bridge leading to bascarsija.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful providing car parking and a welcome drink and cake. The room was quite basic but was comfortable and clean, the bathroom could have done with a little updating, all in it was good value for the price. It was a little difficult to find for the fist time especially in the dark, it was only 5 munities walk to the old town.

Liked: Very friendly and very helpful. Spoke English well. Only 3 minute walk from a brewery that has an excellent atmosphere and serves great meals. Only 10 minute walk at most from the old town of Sarajevo. In a quiet residential area.

Liked: Friendly staff, with free pick up from train. Great location, only 5 minutes walk from the very centre. Great view if you get a room with a balcony too. Fantastic breakfast well worth the few euros.
