Yes I would recommend this hostel if you want the cheapest room in town. If you want peace of mind that they honour your booking or that your bed will be available, this is not the place. They had oversold beds by 4-6 people when we arrived, and only through a heated argument were we given a room the night porter was staying in. Otherwise it was a bench in the 'common room' or the street. One 'shower' (a cubicle with a wooden door attached opening to reception) and one toilet for the whole hostel.

Location was great, right in the centre of the old town and main square. Cleanliness could have been better but if its just one night your there than its ok.

the guy in the hostel helped us a lot, made a tour for us and explained us many things about the country, the city, the people and the history. he got some tipical things to eat from bosnia, and took us to a place to eat and for dinner, gave us best burek in town ( i can tell), the rooms are good, beds are better than normal, so the matress, and the location of the hostel is better than any other, you dont have to walk anywhere, just step outside and you are already in "Bacsarijca", the say the truth: they are not in the center, they are the center

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, chatting with me over coffee and even offering to personally accompany me on excursion out of the city.
