Liked: Cannot reccomend highly enough this hostel. Hands down the warmest, friendliest environment one could ask for. Majda and her family simply went above and beyond in making us feel welcome in their home as well as in Mostar. From the moment we arrived (they were waiting at the bus station to pick us up - even though our bus had broken down!), our experience was priceless.

Liked: Majda's mum makes all sorts of delicious bosnian sweets and savouries which she kindly offers to her guests. I stayed there 3 nights, one more than expected, also because of how I was welcomed. It was like being made part of the family, as a brother or a son! Lots of good conversation in this hostel (which is more like a B&B). Majda and Samir (sister and brother) both speak very good English, have travelled and are eager to know about other people's lives and talk about their own. Definitely come to this place if you're going through Mostar... you will probably stay on a few more nights than expected and hear interesting stories from the hosts! The hostel is more of a household, thus kept immaculately clean and tidy!They didn't pay me to write this comment! so as you can understand, I loved the place! go there and you will understand why!

Liked: Majda and her mother (the 'hostel' is in their apartment, don't expect a palace) are very sweet and helpful. If you give them a call, they'll pick you up from the station (it was raining when I got there and you WILL get lost if you try to follow the directions, it's actually a fair walk). Careful, coz there is another Majda who comes to meet the bus with all the other people offering rooms. They gave me homemade apple pastry and fresh figs when I arrived, and Majda is quite happy to tell you about where to go and what to see, she provides a map too. Lovely lovely people.

Liked: The host, Majda, is very friendly and helpful. She gave us a map with things to in Mostar, incl things you wouldn't find yourself or in a guide. Her English is very good and if you show interest, she is keen to tell you about the city, the people and also more difficult subjects, like the recent war. You can use the washing mashine and the internet for free. She will even pick you up or drop you off at the bus terminal, at (almost) any hour. Very good stay indeed.

Liked: We stayed in a private room which was great value for money, as it was actually a seperate apartment and felt like we were living in the little town of Mostar with the people of Bosnia!! The hostel owner is lovely and provides a taxi almost anytime.
