Liked: Hospitality of the hosts was impressive. Ils peuvent parler français. The guy working for the accomodation can speak English.Blagaj is just 30 minutes away from Mostar by car or local bus, surrounded by beautiful nature.If you prefer to stay within a quiet and historic environment, this would be a good alternative.

Liked: The man who runs this Ottoman house is a very friendly and likable. He speaks v. good English. We stayed out of season so we had the whole place to ourselves, but because of the location this was relaxing. described it as being much more likely in the summer with a grill outside and people sitting out in the lovely gardens. Very cheap. No kitchen, but will provide glasses, eating utensils etc on request. Served us Turkish coffee before we left. Planning some upgrades to furniture and also a library of books and local information about Bosnia and Herzegovina. Definitely worth staying a night here just to see the place.

Liked: It's a beautiful antique and the charm is superb. This is not a party place for young tourists who drink a lot, in fact it is in a majority Muslim town, and the owners have that background, so that kind of juvenile behavior might be considered rude.
