Liked: big rooms

Disliked: we booked a double room with a shared bathroom - and got an email from the hostel confirming it was there and available and reserved, then we arrived and they said the room didn't exist and charged us more for a private bathroom - bit of a con! they offered a different hostel, however the day before someone told us it was rubbish and had rats! also didn't take off the 10% hostel bookers fee!

Liked: The beds were great and the showers are amazing (pressure AND heat - that never happens!)

Disliked: The address is incorrect. The hostel has changed names. There are no communal areas. The available kitchen facilities are in another hostel (where they are terrible). There is no dining room (just an undercover area outside with a small table for 6 people) and internet access is NOT by any means fast (though this is normal for Bolivia). There was no laundry or washing machines as claimed and no currency exchange.

Liked: the courtyard would have been a cool place to relax, if the weather was better

Disliked: that we initially booked a double room, but they tried to give a twin, saying that there were none available. This also happened to another couple staying there at the same time too.

Disliked: Do not say here! Staff are rude and unhelpful. One shower for whole hostel. Bathrooms not clean and bins not emptied

Liked: the place was spotless.... excellent beds, showers, duvets, pillows,good food, reasonably priced beer, but most of all the bar was great craic, stayed 3 extra nights. the staff are very helpful and sound.!!!! No complaints ;-) A good place to meet people

Disliked: perhaps the dorms close to the bar might find the music loud (¿maybe?)

Liked: Not a bad place to stay in Sucre - decent location and quite good value for money.The WIFI does not work outside the reception area, so dont rely on that...also, you need to be able to speak spanish as none of them have any english, which may be a factor for some.

Liked: Good kitchen, average rooms, nice place to spend a couple of days and meet people. Some of the staff are friendly, others not so.......... Spanish would help.

Liked: The wifi did not work for three days, which was actually the main reason I chose this hostel, because there are cheaper places to stay in Sucre. The showers are not hot, unless you get up real early, but it is a good place to meet people to hang out with, so if you are looking for that and don't care about the wifi and the showers it is a perfect place to stay.

Liked: The location is good. But the staff sucks. They screwed up my reservation (1 person instead of 3) and lied. The laundry service is bad, looks like they wash just with water.
