Liked: Central location

Disliked: We arrived at night completely exhausted, half an hour later than estimated due to buses, and were told our reservation had been cancelled. Reluctantly another room was found for us. The staff member then refused to allow us to pay individually and also stated that he had no change whatsoever and we had to give him exactly the right money. He didnt show us to our room. Only one of the bathroom lights worked so we had to brush teeth and go to toilet by torchlight, The mattress had an enormous dent in the middle. I had bed bug bites when i woke in the morning, The social area was directly outside the rooms and music was played there until 1am. Breakfast was stale bread.

Disliked: Bathroom was filthy all the time, staff really unhelpful and pretty rude, not that sociable a place to meet people.

Liked: A great place to meet people and good location. Great Spanish classes run by the hostel

Disliked: The kitchen facilities are not great so eating out is advised.

Liked: Its location and it served real butter for breakfast other than margarine. That's it.

Disliked: Service. Cleanliness Rude staff (particularly when the price issue came up. Not only did the female receptionist smirk at us but her male colleague firstly addressed me as 'tu' rather than 'usted' when I referred to him using the polite 'usted' and then wouldn't let my fellow female travellers speak - possibly due to their gender. Uncomfortable beds. Dodgy security. Awkward atmosphere between staff and guests.

Liked: Very basic rooms but beds were comfy. Breakfast was rubbish, you were given half a teaspoon of butter and jam and weren't allowed to ask for more...but then what can you expect for the price? Walls were very thin so if around the courtryard areas it could get noisy at night. Plenty of bathrooms, not all the showers worked well but some were always nice and hot. One computer, 1Bs for half an hour. No wifi. Good for a cheap few nights.

Liked: Hostel did not have our booking made through hostel bookers. After having a look around, particularly the bathrooms, we decided not to stay the night at all. Very very budget accomodation.
