 better than i expected it to be (i stayed in the annex)...good breakfast, good hot showers, etc. the only negative is that the bathrooms don't provide any privacy for all the people getting sick.

The free beer and pancake breakfast! However, this hostel attracts young party goers so if all you want is an extension of your student bar, go for it. Otherwise all the 'totally awesome, really cool' people who have travelled but not lived may start to grate a bit.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good food and bar. It felt really safe. Great rooftop view. It is a descent walk to the main section of the prado, but its close to the bus station.

The Annex rocks! A great place to meet new people and party in La Paz. The garden terraces were awesome places to chill out and pass the time of day after a big night out.

This hostel had a good bar, had a wide range of tours to book from the hostel and the widest range of DVD´s we´ve seen so far. The staff were always around to help with anything you needed.

This hostel was the cleanest we have ever stayed in - spotless after the staff did their clean up each afternoon - the dorms were kept spick and span!!! There is a security guard in reception over night which is great to make you feel safe in La Paz thankfully we encountered no bad experiences of the place : ) Would defo recommend and if suffering a bit from the altitude its nice to chill out and watch some DVD´s ; ) Just one thing the beer isnt the greatest but thats a matter of choice - would be better if they had a selection of beers to choose from apart from their one Sara on tap - but lets face it a free beer will always be a free beer - have a great stay - and check out Mercado Negro ; )

Breaky and dinner were nice here, only thing I didn´t like was the fact it was a bit out of the main area, plus the music from the bar was load until 12 each night
