Are you looking for something a little different from your stay in Ghent? Would you like all the comfort of a 3 star hotel without the expense? Would you like to spend some time relaxing by the water close to the historical heart of Ghent? Then welcome aboard our Bed and Breakfast barge!
On the Bon Vivant we aim to provide comfortable, affordable bed and breakfast accommodation in a relaxed and friendly environment. A former hotel barge which used to cruise the French waterways, the Bon Vivant has been tastefully decorated and specifically designed to cater for the luxury end of the hotel market.
Accommodation Information
The boat has 3 spacious, en suite cabins- 2 twin bed and one double bed, that can accommodate up to 9 people. There is a large salon and dining area that can be used by guests at all times. This is where breakfast is served with a view over the water.
In the summer you may prefer to relax on the boat's huge sun deck. There is plenty of parking space on the key side.
Location Information
The boat is centrally located on the Handelsdok- an ideal location for those wanting to be close to the center and the train station. The Ghent Dampoort train station and the city center can both be reached on foot in 10 minutes.
