Hotel de Flandre is located in the hart of Ghent, just several meters from the main attractions. The classical 19th century building has retained much of its original charm. The hotel was recently renovated and now the rooms offer a unique combination of old-world charm and modern comfort.

Situated in a former 19th-century coach house, the hotel is adorned with traditional shutters. The lobby, fitted with an oak staircase, has a 24-hour front desk with a multilingual staff.
Breakfast is served at a surcharge, and in fine weather can be taken on the hotel patio. A range of Belgian beers and other beverages can be enjoyed in Hotel de Flandre's bar, which features a fireplace.

All 46 air-conditioned guest rooms are decorated in cream tones. Colourful contemporary artwork adorns the walls. Rooms are equipped with satellite television, wireless Internet access, and refrigerators. Other amenities include desks, direct-dial phones, safes, minibars, and hair dryers.

Hotel de Flandre's grand suite was formally the residence of Johann Strauss I while he was performing at the Opera in 1838. The room is fitted with period furniture and fabrics.
