Liked: This place is great. It has the best location in the city. If you visit Brussels you have to book this hostel.

Liked: Ostello in eccezionale posizione, nel cuore della città!!! Il personale della reception è cortese e disponibile. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è, a mio avviso, buono. L'unico appunto lo faccio per l'arredo delle camere un pò datato e per la pulizia in genere. Lo raccomando assolutamente a persone che come me, sono adattabili, spartane e non con molte pretese.

Liked: We stayed on the top floor so our room had wonderful (low) wooden beams. The bedroom area was great with a hugh double bed. The location was awesome, right in the Grand Place. However the bathroom can do with a bit of work as the shower drain didn't work well so that wasn't too pleasant. But overall worth its price.

Liked: This hostel WOULD have been great. It is a superb location just near the Grand Place and the room was cosy and spacious and comfy bed. HOWEVER - we had a problem with our room door not locking and as there is no reception at the hostel, we had to ask the cleaner for help who didn't speak english and said our bags would be ok! I don't think so. So we had to lug all our bags to the reception at the hostel where you have to check in - a fifteen not five minute walk away, store them there and ask them to fix the door. They did fix it later that day, but we wasted an hour or two of our weekend. The hostel would be fantastic if there was a receptionist there, as if you have any trouble you are kind of stuck. It is also just near central station, which would be easier than going to midi and checking in down the road and walking.. seems like they are trying to save a few pennies but really doing the hostel a disservice. A direct dial to the reception may be a start????????????? We felt very helpless.

Liked: The location is great, right off the main plaza. They could spend some $$ to fix broken doors knobs and showers etc. It is a bit annoying that you have to go to another location to pick up keys.

Liked: Fantastic place to stay, so close to everything! We had a great time staying there. The guys at the front desk were awesome at helping us when we got stuck because of a rail strike. The room was large and clean the beds were great.Really recommend it to anybody wanting a great place to stay.Only catch is you have to pick the key up for a different place, but that is worth the effort!!!

Liked: Very nicely located, too bad the staff didn't care that we didn't have any heat in our room. We were freezing and I caught a cold at Hostel Grand Place.

Liked: Like they say in real estate, "location, location, location". The Grand Place is literally right outside your door, as are many of the city sites you'd want to see. Also, the Central train station is only a 5 minute walk away. Free internet, coffee/tea also nice. Appreciated that they had daily maid service in the room, too. Fresh towels always waiting. Friendly brothers who own the place -- one let me charge my iPhone on his personal laptop because I didn't have the European converter. Overall a great place to stay in the heart of BRU!! Note- not the quietest place to sleep. Bring earplugs. We were told that new double windows are being installed in the rooms to address this complaint soon though.

Liked: Great Location - but an old building, meant that our shower, lights, toilet didn't work. They tried to rectify the situation, but should not of opened until these problems are fixed properly.

Liked: The location was great, next to Grote Markt/ Grand Place. The information desk at 2go4 at Emile Jacqmainlaan was rather chaotic and people did not have things totally under control, like explaining things to (other) guests. This led to misunderstandings..
