Liked: The hostel has a good area to stay with other peolpe, with a good bar and a good restaurant.

Disliked: If you need other services you have to pay a not very good price.

Liked: Very accommodating and the hostel had a good vibe. Definitely go on the free walking tour. Great fun.

Disliked: The hallway smelled really bad.

Liked: Really great place to stay - great pods to sleep in, hot showers, cool pub and the staff are fantastic! Also the location is great, just a short walk into town.

Disliked: Wifi is only in the common room, but apart from that it's great : )

Liked: Location

Disliked: Internet only available in the bar and lobby, where there is not a lot of seats. The showers are the worst I have ever seen: a button needs to be pushed every 5 seconds to continue the water. Many rooms are also in the floors above the bar, so getting to sleep can be difficult.

Liked: Easy to find, great bar, good breakfast (cereal, coffee, eggs, juice, croissants, fancy buns, jams, etc), good showers (bathrooms are unisex though), nice pub, curtains around each bed so you get a little privacy, lockers for each bed

Disliked: A group of 16 really loud and drunk teenagers who had no regard for the 10 other sleeping people on the floor

Liked: Great atmosphere in the downstairs pub, very rustic and cosy (but not very Bauhaus lol!).

Disliked: Note that the 'AMAZING Pod Beds' are NOT in every dorm. My dorm was rather run down and spartan, like a camp dorm. Showers are coed and not that great. I'm an average height female and the shower nozzle was so low the water was hitting me between the shoulder blades, rather difficult for washing one's hair.

Liked: The pod beds in the 10+ bed dorms are excellent- each one with light, 2 powerpoints and a curtain. There aren't any traditional lockers but lockable crates under the beds instead. Breakfast was reasonable and location good- about 7 or 8 minutes to the centre along a well-lit street. Lots of free maps at reception, both of Bruges and neighbouring cities.

Disliked: Ok - don't want this to sound too bad because the staff were really good about the situation but... in my opinion if you are going to do something (especially in a business situation), you do it properly. With this in mind, they do have a bike hire system but don't do it all that well. They said they send the bikes offsite to get fixed but the day I wanted a bike it took 45 minutes to find one in semi-reasonable condition, organize for things to be tightened etc before I could be on my way... Would recommend allowing a little extra time before you want to leave but the bike routes are nice (cycling out to the coast was good), routes are well marked and they have maps at reception.

Liked: The location is great, it is within walking distance of the main sqaure and there are nice bars, resturants and shops within a couple of minutes walk.

Disliked: There was one toilet shared between a whole hallway of dorms which was simply not enough for the volume of people staying there.

Liked: Staff was really nice and helpful, the hostel had a fairly nice bar and restaurant. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, location is a bit of a walk from the center of the city but still in a nice area with lots of restaurants and hops.

Disliked: The beds really could be more comfortable - really thin mattress + metal bedframe = uncomfortable. The internet is really expensive (1 euro for 15 minutes?) and most of the computers, as well as the credit card machine, were broken. Breakfast also wasn't very good.

Liked: It has maybe the cheapest price and from next day, the price will be half! And Bruges purely sightseeing place so roommates would be not creepy but friendly. Breakfast was really nice two kinds of serial sand boiled egg, two kinds of bread. Staffs are also good and room is comfortable.

Disliked: There was no kitchen and Bergium was relatively expensive. There was one staff who didn't know a lot about Bruges.

Liked: The staff was really helpful and they give you lots of deals for things around town, including a free beer tasting, mmm. Also, there are some great brochures in the lobby with tons of suggestions for things to do, no matter what budget. Everything was clean, and pod beds give you a little privacy which is nice in the evening.

Disliked: The bathrooms/showers are unisex. I didnt have a bad experience, but it caught me a little off guard. Also, you have to pay to use their computers, but if you bring your own computer/ipod its free wifi.

Liked: We stayed in a five-bed dorm and the room was great. An L-shape, with 5 single beds (not bunks), 3 on one side and 2 on another, so a little privacy was offered. The beds were super comfy. As other reviewers have said, only one shower on each floor but somehow we never had to wait to use it. Helpful reception. The pub downstairs was nice. Breakfast was good. Rooms had individual heating so we could control the temperature.

Disliked: Common area for guests would be nice! Other than that, it was great.

Liked: One of the best hostels iv stayed in. A great social hostel with organised activities such as beer tasting. Has a bar and restaurant attached to it. would recommend it to anyone.
