Liked: There are nice wind mills nearby. Staff member is helpful.

Disliked: Extremely dirty. I wonder if anyone ever clean the bathroom. I actually saw the same mess in the bathroom for 2 consecutive days. Dust everywhere. How can this place be so dirty?

Liked: Good vibe, beds are decent. Breakfast is good.

Disliked: There were only 2 showers working when we were there and they were dirty.

Liked: - comfortable bed- value for money

Disliked: - cups for the tea were not clean - not enough light in the room - there was a TV in the room but no plug to turn it on!!! - private bathroom in our room was a little bit too small

Liked: Provided a base for my vacation with WiFi contact to home

Disliked: Showers not hot enough - nozzle too far from you for a start PLUS tepid water. Used Disabled one rather than freeze and that was still too cool No Self Catering Kitchen to cook an evening meal

Liked: The location was ok, about a five minute walk into town.

Disliked: The bathrooms were dirty and the showers were COLD! The room of our door wouldn't lock so people from the hostel or even people off the street could get into our room. It wasn't a secure hostel, although I didn't feel unsafe personally, the hostel was pretty much open to the rest of Brugue! It was freezing so don't stay here in winter! Plus there was no common room or anywhere to meet people apart from the pub next door.

Liked: The room en toilet were clean, breakfast was good.

Disliked: It's far from the train station, but the bus stop is near the hostel so it isn't difficult to get to the station.

Liked: Very nice and cheap place, lots of discounts in the city, having a pub under the hostel was quite good, they have free tours around the city, bikes for rent at a good value, wifi free and computers for rent.

Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was the price of using the computers, 1 euro for 15 minutes, but it's not a problem if you have a notebook or a smartphone with wifi.

Liked: Nice bar, great breakfast if you get there early (Danish!!) right near windmills and short walk to centre. Staff very friendly!

Liked: This place had the best bar I had seen with a nice restaraunt next to it.

Disliked: Internet was a little expensive and there wasn't anywhere to relax.

Liked: I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the good information about all. For me it was very usefull the map of Bruxelles for going to Charleroi aiport and was an enjoyment to rent a bike.

Disliked: it was impossible to booked a single room on line, but when arrived I could have one except one night. in the dormitory up the pub it's impossible to sleep........

Liked: the beer tasting tour was good, plus the bar was cool and the staff really nice.

Disliked: Bathrooms were filthy! If I get a skin infection I know where I picked it up from! We chose this place on the internet thinking of other St Christopher hostels...this hostel is well below St Christopher standard!

Liked: Very cheap!!!! You can walk most of attractions. And there is free walking tour.

Disliked: The building is quite big. It was easy to lost your room cause of many floors are different place. And cleaning!!!!

Liked: If possible, take the Beer Tastint Experience with Kai Angelet, he really know how to teach you about the belgian beers and how to drink them all. Totally recommendable.

Liked: The location is ok, the restaurant/pub look nice.

Disliked: Rooms look like prison cells, no character whatsoever. Only very few toilet facilities available, often out of toilet paper or very dirty. Very expensive for what you get. I've paid half of this for a better room.

Liked: Good pub right next door.

Disliked: There was only one WC for use between all the rooms on our floor, inclusive of the bar and restaurant, which were open to the public. Showers were not very hot. Rooms weren't well insulated from sounds from street and the hallways. Wifi connection not very stable and you have to pay to use their PCs. There was no vending machine for snacks and drinks as one would be accustomed to in a hostel. The hostel is a fair walk from the center of the city.

Liked: Good location, relatively quiet and secure.

Disliked: I was at the same hostel 18 months prior and things have taken a turn backwards in general. The breakfast was much better 18 months ago. Cerial with warm milk and bread that can't be toasted? get real.
