Liked: common room is nice to meet people. staff is friendly.

Disliked: the ensuite bathorrom was small and so were the rooms

Liked: The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some beer was only 1 euro at the bar. Lybeer was a great place to meet people in the common room.

Disliked: The shower was a bit cold but it wasn't bad after a night of drinking belgium beer.

Disliked: DO NOT STAY HERE - AWFUL! Showers freezing everyday, said it was an ensuite but could not use the shower as tiny room with no curtain, only one toilet on the floor as they hadn´t bothered to fix the other toilet lock. Very narrow staircase to carry your bags up several flights. Very unsafe especially for girls on their own - no emergency contact number and not a 24 hour reception, we were locked in the room for hours an extremely dangerous health and safety hazard especially in event of fire or illness. Unfriendly and unsympathetic staff member.

Liked: Very cosy place, friendly one is needed with staff, only more to clean up.

Liked: It was right in the centre and the staff were just lovely. They also give you a Bruges discount card which you can use to get money off attractions.

Disliked: There was a safe to put your belongings it but it wasn;t free which I would have expected it to be.

Liked: Really friendly people, decent rooms, bar, common room, internet, easy walk from both the station and the main attractions.

Disliked: Pillows a bit thin, and shower head not attached to the wall so you had to hold it in your hand while showering.

Liked: The staff were excellent and super friendly. They remembered you and were very helpful with check in and giving you maps and info about Bruge. The location was good as well. You can walk from the train station and then to everything else around Bruge as well. Like the free wifi too.

Disliked: The roms were cramped, tiny and not very clean. There was a pile of dirty laundry in our room the two days that we were there. They stripped my boyfriends bed even though we had two nights in the room. The beds had the worst matresses and pillows. I have never been so stiff when I woke up! The showers were very cold too. The breakfast was okay for 3 euros but nothing special.

Liked: The common room was a fun and chill place to eat dinner, watch football, and talk with other people. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave us a great map and Bruges Card which gave us dicounts.

Disliked: The kitchen was small so only 1 person/ group could cook at a time. Also the fridge was tiny! The room we stayed in was not very clean and also tiny. The hall showers did not lock, though the sheets and bathrooms weren't unclean. I give it a C- it passed but just barely. You get what you pay for at Lybeers.

Liked: Large common area, very fun and helpful staff.

Disliked: The room is a tad small and that the shower heater is pretty erratic. But those are just minor complaints in an otherwise decent hostel.

Liked: Hostel staff were great- cheery and always helpful. Location, well, it's a tiny town!Showers are the only real whinge with no real water pressure and were always freezing. The added cost of 3 euros for breakfast was a bit of a pain but I'm sure this works for some people.
