Liked: A nice friendly informal place. Fairly cheap. Good breakfast for the price.

Disliked: Noisy roadworks nearby - interfered with plumbing so that hot water was not always available. Not a lot of room for eating breakfast.

Liked: It had a great common room as well as a kitchen, free computers with internet and a nice location.

Liked: Location to train station and city centre made life easy. The place can be best described as cheap and cheerful.The staff were friendly and helpful. They were apologetic about problems wit hot water and discounted us money from the bill for the en-suite.

Disliked: The showers in both our rooms took an age to warm up. One eventually stopped working all together. One room had to be aired during the day as it smelt of domestic animals. The other room and indeed the whole of downstairs became over-powered with the most terrible smell of egg/sewerage and drains on one day. The breakfast seemed very basic and I didn't bother. One room was durty on arrival. Bin not emptied and flor not swept. One door handle was hanging off and had a sharp end which I caught my leather coat on by accident. It ripped and suffice it to say was not best pleased. The rooms were damp and needed more than a lick of paint. The walls were paper thin and made for some interesting night-time musical obstacles to a good night's sleep. This is a seriously lower-end hostel, okay for students and back packers maybe. Not to take your mum and sister. Ooops.

Liked: Good location, great common area and friendly staff

Disliked: Took me a while to find it as its sort of tucked away from the main street with no signage. Rooms were very small with not a lot of room to hold people and luggage and stairs to the floors were very steep with a wobbly hand rail. Didnt feel too secure

Liked: This property was fine if you are staying one night. It is very run down and the facilities are average. We stayed in a double room with ensuite and it was not the best value for money as all facilities are old and run down. Pillows were pathertic. The location was excellent.

Disliked: The noise. All through the night all you hear is footsteps CONSTANTLY. Very annoying when you have been up since 4am on the eurostar. All we wanted was a bit of peace.

Liked: I liked the location of the property and I found the staff to be very helpful,which as a shy solo traveller is very important to my situation.

Disliked: The only downside I can think of was that the room was a little dirty but the bed clothes were immaculate and as I was on a sightseeing visit I didn't spend that much timer in the room.

Liked: Close to the main square and train station and staff where always smiling and helpful.

Disliked: The room wasn't the most nicest although the beds where clean which made it a little better. The bathroom in the room was weird and small and at one stage the toilet wasn't working.

Liked: Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Location is excellent, only a few minutes walk to the main city square and parks.

Disliked: It is need of a major rennovation. The bathroom facilities are inadequate -old and there were not enough for the number of guests. Locks on toilet doors failed to lock, some showers had no lights or windows so the shower was entirely dark and one shower was flooded and looked like it had been that way for weeks. The place needs to maintained better.

Liked: Very good location.

Disliked: Was very noisy and dirty. I booked two nights in a single room with shared bathroom. The building was seriously needing restoring. The drains was not ok so the room smell very bad. On the two nights, in any moment the bathrooms were cleaned. By other hand the door lock of the bathroom was brooked wich was very unconfortable. On the reservation was mencioned that the breakfast was included but on the check-In thay told me that I had to pay it.

Liked: Location is quite good. Reception staff is very helpful and always happy.

Disliked: Dirty, everything seems to be falling apart. A note is put up at reception: "Clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy". Unsure how it could be recommended.
