Liked: The staff were so so friendly! On arrival we were made to feel completely welcome. When we arrived, they had maps and guide books ready which saved us valuable time when in Bruges. All in all, a very comfortable stay, with great services, great staff whilst being completely value for money. I would stay there again. The only down side is the distance from the house to the city centre, although we were directed to free parking just outside the city centre so this was not an issue.

Liked: Andre (the owner) was very kind an helpful, we had a really nice breakfast and Andre also guided us, gave us maps, directions, etc.

Disliked: The location is not the greatest, it's not exactly in the centre, but if you don't mind walking for 20-25 minutes, then you will like it.

Liked: Andre was really great and helpful. The location was a little out of the city but we loved it and it certainly wasn't an inconvenience. If we returned to Brugge we would definitely go back and stay at the B&B.

Liked: Andre is a great host who provided us with several infomation on Bruges. It was really nice to talk to him and the other guests while having lunch. The B&B is really a nice place to be. It's in a quite area although you can reach the centre within five minutes by car. By the way there is free parking in the street. All in all we would really recommend this B&B. We will surely come back if we stay in Bruges for a second time.

Liked: First of all, I would like to point it is the first time I am able to arrive to a hotel without difficultlies, since the directions to arrive are pretty well explained. Furthermore, I thought that the hospitality was amazing. From the beginning, I felt as part of the family. We were warmly welcomed, breakfast was pleasant, and the room and shower were decent. I would strongly recommend those travelers who are staying in Brussels to consider staying in Andre's Bed and Breakfast.

Liked: Andre was vwery inviting, and ready with maps of Brugge and suggestions of where to eat and drink to avoid the "tourist traps" he gave us a guide book for getting around giving us enough information to start exploring Brugge, but also making sure we'd discover some things for ourselves. Andre also ensured we had his business card so we could call him if we had any questions while we were out and about.The rooms were clean and warm, It really felt more like "at home" than a Hotel could ever possibly achieve.We had a lounge to relax in at the end of the day, even the TV had all the major channels from home. It's the perfect distance away from the city centre, just a short bike ride or 20 minute walk gets you to Brugge centre, but you get peace and quiet at night.There's a friendly local shop nearby and a pub within 5 minutes.I've already recommended Andre to friends and will definitely stay there next time I'm in Brugge.Thanks Andre! it was a pleasure to stay!Pete Keaney

Liked: Andre and Hilda could not have been more welcoming. He had thought of everything; on arrival we were given a town map, town guide, bus ticket and directions for the bus/taxi drivers in Flemish. The room was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was lovely. Some people may be put off because it is not directly in the town centre. However it was only a 25 minute very pleasant walk right into the centre and it was very safe to walk back at night time. I will stay there again.

Liked: very helpful with how to get to town, and use of guide book and map. bus service was good. we drove to hostel, easy to park at hostel and on our 2nd day easy to drive to free parking recommended by Andre in town.hostel in a quiet residential area.good breakfast, lots of choice.clean and comfortable, perfect English spoken.

Liked: I stayed for long and was apprehensive when i went and was made to feel at home straight away. Given full guidance of the bus and local area.Good local fritter shop for cheap food , good sandwich shop and upmarket pub and top notch chinese resturant.Local shopping mall close, pharmacy round the corner.Great peaceful location

Liked: We spent 3 nights there and it was really lovely time.The owner picked us up at the station and in 5 minutes (by car) we were at the hostel - the cosy traditional Belgian house. The room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was perfect and everything was great. Reaching the center was not a problem at all, considering that owner sells cheap bus tickets and bus station is in 3 minutes walking distance.I highly recommend this hostel to everyone, especially for young couples.
