Liked: The location was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. I really liked their map/guide that they gave us. Having a sink in your bedroom was nice, too, but no soap. The showers were quite something...hot showers, yes, but you cant regulate the temperature and the location of the showers was pretty inconvenient. Also, the eating area is the same as the bar, which means that there are always people that smoke :-(The shower had a hairdryer which was nice. Breakfast was very plain but ok. Overall, you get what you pay for. Its cheap but the rooms are very small. We had a good stay, though.

Liked: Funky hostel with good atmosphere. Like most hostels in Brugge, it is an absolute rabbit warren. The shower block is down on the ground floor, out the back through the bar and courtyard, through to the next building and up a flight of stairs... Its good for a novelty value but could drive you a bit nuts after more than 2 nights. Great bar and really social atmosphere. Nice area of town. Only a short walk to the central Markt

Liked: It's fairly close to the Market which is the center of town. The walking tour is a great way to see and learn about the city.

Liked: a nice clean cheap hostel that still has character. the bar is great too - it's full of delicious cheap belgian beer and always people who want to meet other travelers. overall, well-kept with a great atmosphere! so what if you have to walk through the bar to the showers, it's not inconvenient enough for it to matter, given that everything's great in general. definitely one of the better hostels i've stayed at.
