Liked: good place to stay, ideal location for city. breakfast was seriously basic (cereal and/or toast) and only choice of tea/coffee (no juice). walking through bar to get to showers wasn't an issue at all - its a quirk of the place!staff were ok, but didn't go out of their way to be friendly. would recommend as a place to stay for a couple of nights.

Liked: Nice atmosphere and staff, good bar and kitchen. Only problem was the showers which are far from the rooms and pretty annoying to use. Other then that, very nice stay.

Liked: its good, but you dont have your own shower in the roome and you have to go downstairs too take a shower, that is the only think that is not good, but is fun too drink at night in the hostel...

Liked: Great Location, biggest issue was the smoking inside though... the bar was right under our room, it seeped through the floors and everything stunk of ciggarette smoke. Apart from that, staff were nice, and the facilities (whilst old) were decent.

Liked: the journey up the stairs to the rooms is exciting - a little scary - with turning stairs and handrail not attached to any part of the wall. One step even has its metal bar connecting the stair to the handrail removed.

Liked: Yeah...the showers are not good at all...they arent clean, private or big...the water was very hot ...but its the only thing that should be change...They have a lot of beers to offers for a affordable price and the glasses are fantastic!

Liked: Snuffel was pretty good value for the money. The location was a five to ten minute walk, the staff was helpful, you could rent bikes and bike out to the north sea for the day, the bar had great selection, and it was a good place to meet other travelers.

Liked: This property was cheap but the 12 bed dorm was so cramped everyone could hardly fit and no room for bags or standing in room. Bunk was so close to the basin you can barely climb the stairs to get to the top bunk. Showers are also very average with no temperature control and you have to pull a chain to keep the water on.

Liked: I loved this hostel!!! The bar was so nice and the people were all very friendly and outgoing. The rooms were decorated with fun bright colors and the whole place had a nice warm feel. Probably my favorite hostel. :)

Liked: Friendly staff, good location, clean beds. Not the most lively of hostels (so if traveling alone could be hard to meet people). Very cool building (with lots of stairs), laundry machines available and loads of Belgian beers. Made my stay in Bruges very easy and relaxing.

Liked: Reasonably priced, and breakfast was pretty good. Showers were kind of inconvenient tho... you have to walk through the bar out, out to the courtyard and back up to the shower block. And you have to constantly pull the chain to get the shower to run. Room was a little cramped. But other than that no complaints.
