Liked: Great atmosphere, cheap drinks every night, great breakfast included in the budget price! Also, good walking distance from main square and major attractions! Staff were simply happy to help whenever they could! I didn't expect such a high standard for the price! Highly recommended!! :)

Liked: Very friendly staff, good bar downstairs that all the locals go to as well. Cheap bike rentals at the hostel and they give you tonnes of info about brugge.

Disliked: Showers where a little bit dodgy, have to pull a chain to get water and there is no temperature gauge.

Liked: Bit of a hike to get out there (definitely take the bus!) but once there it's a great place, great bar deals and good value!

Liked: Only staff courtesy , location and price..

Disliked: Only positive points were the price and localization in Bruges center. services were indecent. Second floor has , for 20 people only a wc without washstand. first floor has a washstand too, but it was out of service..(in dormitories there is a washstand but too small and near to beds, therefore it's hard to use it). Only shower were in the court at ground floor (people must carry through reception and breakfast area, going in the open air (of course it was raining). SHOWER WERE SHARED FOR MEN AND WOMEN AND THEY HAD ONLY A CURTAIN WITHOUT DOOR, BED WASN'T VERY LARGE...

Liked: Great variety of services. Lockers, bike rental, maps, bus tickets, bar, etc.

Disliked: Showers are inside, but you have to walk down the stairs through the reception/bar area and through a small yard and up some other stairs to get there. Showers are nice enough, though.

Liked: I liked the staff, and it was clean. This was my first time staying in a hostel, I always stay in hotels and it was cleaner than the pricy hotels.

Disliked: no soap and no towls in bathroom. That is gross, you know that people won't wash their hands then. I had to buy my own soap and take it everywhere with me.

Liked: Free wifi.

Disliked: DO NOT STAY HERE SO THEY WILL CLEAN UP THEIR FACILITIES. Bad shower and toilet facilities, not clean at all, scratchy sheets, overcrowded rooms, unhelpful and rude staff that are unwilling to change anything about the hostel, and an incredibly dangerous spiral staircase to the rooms. The staff were rude when another person took my bed and told me that "there's nothing we can do about it" and to "suck it up, it's only for one night". Honestly, this property does not have the minimum standard of living requirements that would be needed in the US or most other developed countries, so I would caution people to NOT STAY HERE. Once they get less business they will see that they need to upgrade their 1900's facilities to something that's of a livable condition in this century.

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay here the rooms where clean and the staff was helpful the breakfast was simple but included. The bar was very cheap and was also a locals place. Everynight most of the backpackers would all hang out together at the bar or go on a tour provided by the hostel. The only dOwn side was the pull string showers in the building behind the hostel however for us the great environment more than made up for that we met a lot of cool people

Liked: Pretty average place, have stayed at better but also at worse. The kitchen is small and the lounge/bar area is pretty basic. The showers are also in a seperate building.
