Liked: The bar downstairs is cool, although a seperate common room that isn't available to the public would be nice, although with the space they have, they have done well.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very clean and within walking distance of most places.

Disliked: Hard to find and a slightly poor kitchen (very few utensils and bad hob).

Liked: It was clean and staff was helpfull. It had a bar downstairs so you could mingle with other backpackers.

Disliked: The only thing was that the guy in the bar played metal music soooo loud in the afternoon and night. It's only a problem if you need to use internet and concentrate.

Liked: Great location for Bruges, could walk to everything. The cheap bike hire was good (but get in early). Breakfast was great, best we have had in Europe so far.

Disliked: If we were retarded and grew up on a farm the showers might have seemed ok, but we weren't, so they didn't (need to have seen "in Bruges" to understand). These could possibly be the worst showers I have ever had and the person that designed a shower with a pull chain and only one hook, must be retarded. Apart from that and the kitchen being a bit small and lacking in some things this is a nice hostel.

Liked: everyone is friendly, it was cheap but still a great place to stay, we'd deffinately recomend it. the staff were helpful.

Disliked: it would have been nice to be able to ajust the heat on the showers.

Liked: Great place to stay. Beds were comfortable, and the breakfast is great. Toast, jam, nutella, cream cheese, milk, coffee. Excelent. Also, ypu can rent a bike for 6 euros for the whole day. Definetely recommend this place

Disliked: The showers were not so great. The water was hot, but you had to keep pulling down a chain to get water. Also, shower room is for both men and women, so no privacy. Would be great if they put a bench or something to place your stuff wwhile showering.

Liked: Loved the atmosphere, staff, people. One of my favourite hostels I've ever stayed at for certain.

Disliked: Not much. Showers were up some stairs in a separate part from the bedrooms, so you had to walk through the bar...which was kind of weird but everyone was kinda used to it. Also this meant showers were only open 7am-midnight.

Liked: Relaxed, nice bar

Disliked: Showers were outside, through the bar, pull chord and 30 seconds of water. Probably not fun in the winter but was fine in the sunshine.

Disliked: Only thing was the showers weren't great and separate from the rest of the building which could be an if it was colder. Not big enough deal for me not to go back

Liked: Near to the Centre. 20 mins walk to Belfort. Free Internet wifi. Hot water, Staff very helpful. We were told that if we travel on weekend we get 50% discount which we were not aware of. So we saved a lot of euros Free Parking

Disliked: Just one thing that you have to pass the bar/ reception to go to baths.

Liked: Place was great, about 5mins walk from the main square, nice old looking building, rooms were a bit tight but was only sleeping there so it was ok. Have to walk outside to get to the showers but that wasnt as bad as other comments stated. Great place.

Disliked: The bathroom is too far away from the dorm.

Liked: Close to downtown!

Disliked: Showers are really far away from the rooms and not clean in the morning especially. Have to walk through reception and kitchen and go up to 1st floor in another building. The staircase to go to the 1. and 2. floors is scary and even seems dangerous. The rooms are not nice.

Liked: Friendly staff und the pub atmosphere downstairs makes it pretty easy to meet other people!

Disliked: Showers and bathrooms are quite far away, you need to go to a different part to the building from where the dorms are. As I was always the last at mornings, they were already a little dirty, too.

Liked: Cheap, relatively good location, fun, good atmosphere, nice comforters

Disliked: was placed in a mixed dorm without knowing, and the shower floors were disgusting (so much hair on the ground)

Liked: I stayed at the hostel for one night and had absolutely no complaints. They were very helpful and gave a lot of advise in regards to things to see. The price is very cheap for clean, safe rooms and breakfast is included. The common area is big and there is even a bar with a lot of different beers on offer. The location is really handy and a very short walk away from the main attractions in bruges. I can imagine it being a very social hostel, unfortunately it wasn't so busy when I went but that is just luck rather than the hostel!

Liked: Great hostel, with a bar on the first floor. Cheapest beer in town, easy place to meet people.

Disliked: The only downside is that the showers are very far from the rooms--down 2 floors, through the bar, outside and into another room. Still worth it though.
