Liked: The atmosphere of the place (the couple rooms especially), really smart and typical. Staff really sympathic with good advices

Liked: The place is an excelent spot to spend a few nights, its cozy and relax, near everything like in all Brugge!

Liked: The location is great, and the staff were very friendly. The beds weren't bad, and the showers had hot water. Our room had a sink and good ventilation and functional heat.

Disliked: There is a very bad odor of rotten water, especially in the main floor, our room wasn't unbearable, but they need to get a dehumidifier or something. The entry area really smells like a fetted canal. It is really more of a hotel than a hostel, so there is no common area, no community feel. But the shared rooms are only 4 beds, so its not too bad. But it wouldn't be fun if you were by yourself. There are only two showers (at least on 1st floor) and they got really well used in the morning so they weren't the cleanest if you weren't the first on in. But really nice hot water. The price was right, so overall it was a good for a short stay.

Liked: Passage restaurant was terrific. Very reasonably priced and excellent menu, even for vegetarians.

Disliked: One shower for everyone.

Liked: good matresses, nice staff I liked the waterthing on the room

Disliked: no place to sit really, because we couldn't sit in the restaurant since there were too many people who would like to eat. Only 1 bathroom for the entire hallway

Liked: It has a restaurant/pub downstairs.

Disliked: Not enough toilets/bathrooms and besides they are shared with the restaurant (!!!). The restaurant is too crowded and were unable to find a table for dinner.

Liked: Wonderful location in the heart of the city. minutes away from the shops and Christmas markets. Friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: Slightly grim. Clean but all the bed sheets had holes. All the light fittings were broken. There were no lockers available to store cases. Only one power point in the room. Shower was on a timer that lasted about 30 seconds. This place was extremely basic and the facilities were very run down.

Liked: We stayed in a private room and it felt like we were a guest in somebody's house. Both the hostel and private building had a nice welcome feel to it. The location could not not have been better, it was scenic throughout and it was central to everywhere.

Disliked: The room we stayed in was very cold, we appreciated that our stay was in December and our room was in the roof conversion but there was only 1 radiator. However, there was a spare blanket to hand.

Liked: We stayed in the hotel part which is in the building next door. Our room was a big attic room with an en suite. Good value for money. The location is unbeatable for the price and the staff were really helpful.

Disliked: The toilet was round a corner but there was no door :( not great if someone makes a smell. The room was on a bit of a slope, it wasn't really a problem, just made you feel like you were slightly drunk. There were a few squished bugs smeared on the walls too.

Liked: Its a waste of your money.

Disliked: Its a shame hostelbookers is still associated with a hotel which gives no importance whatsoever to hostellers. Kept me and a group of 5 others waiting for 45 minutes while they were serving drinks to new customers at the bar. No facilitiesa t al.. no linen. Closes at 11. They'r just milking people by providing an attic to board and do not care about anything else.Hostels is clearly a business they just treat additionally.

Liked: Cute building, fairly central, nice staff, comfy bed, good price.

Disliked: 1 Power point in the room didn't work, only one toilet and shower (unheated) for the whole building - but we were the only ones here so it didn't matter.

Liked: Ubication, nice building

Disliked: They didn't respect my reservation but they give us breakfast for free after that.

Liked: The staff was very helpful and the hostel is very nice and caring, besides being very convenient.

Disliked: Rooms are separated into diferent buildings. To get to our room it was necessary to climb stairs very narrow and steep.

Liked: Fantastic location and really nice room. (we were in a double)

Disliked: Only had 1 shower and 1 toilet between 12 rooms. Wasn't a problem for us when we were there coz it was quiet but if the hotel side was full it would be a pain

Liked: Could be a really amazing place because so much character to the property, great location, handy for good kebab shop and Miss Ellie's cafe and small Carefour as well as all of Bruges of course.

Disliked: The smell inour room (no 6) was very bad, coming from the radiator as well as from outside. The shared and leaking toilet is divided out of room 6 so you get to hear everyone going to the toilet. There's no hand wash except in your room, not very hygienic. The room was very dirty around the edges. The light fitting was hanging out of the ceiling, emphasising the dirt on it.

Liked: Its Enough to sleep and shower.

Disliked: I don't like the way some people talk with me and my friends. Special the manager. Every time that I stayed in the bar, she was very rude.

Liked: Staff was awesome; very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and good for the price.

Disliked: The shared shower was weird; like showering in a closet. But that's Europe; everything is small and that is okay.

Disliked: bad smell in the corridor and room, in the shower you have to press a button all the time to get water

Liked: It was in a good location

Disliked: Whilst we understood that there would be shared bathroom facilities, it was not made clear that these would not be on the same floor as our room, or that there would only be a single toilet and single shower for 11 rooms. The cleanliness of the room was fine, but the cleanliness of the bathroom was questionable.

Disliked: Wasn't clean, showers/ toilets and beds were dirty. Not the best hostel for the price I paid. The staff wasn't friendly either
