Liked: lots of character. private room was nice. hotel but had a bit more old-school grit/edge to it (VS the surrounding touristy hotels)

Liked: Breakfast was absolutely amazing. The building is amazing. Stuff was very helpful, location is perfect, very close to the historical city center.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The hostel was in a good location, had a nice character, and the on-location restaurant was amazing! It was also nice having a sink in the room.

Disliked: The hallways were kind of smelly, and my room got really stuffy & hot at night. The toilets were in a bit of an awkward location.

Liked: central location, easily accessible, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the restaurant was a nice place to eat and try local beers and meet like minded travellers.

Disliked: it smelt. very basic rooms, i guess it's good you want to get out as much as possible, but for the location and price worth it.

Liked: The hostel was in a great location. Central to what we wanted to see. The cafe attached was nice and I appreciated that they offered breakfast and a free beer with dinner. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Disliked: The building was quaint, but very old. The rooms felt rather creepy. The beds weren't very comfortable and there was an issue with the power going off while we were there.

Disliked: very small rooms, the walls are very slight, we could hear everything from the room next-door

Liked: There was a restaurant/bar downstairs where we ended up ordering a few rounds of drinks and eating dinner. The price was reasonable and the staff were very polite.

Disliked: There are key pad locks on the doors to the rooms and the people who eat at the restaurant also share the same bathrooms upstairs. It wouldn't be too difficult for someone to break in and steal all your stuff but I guess that's what you get for only 15 euros a night.

Liked: Lovely atmosphere, great bar and restaurant. Good sized private rooms with towels in the ensuite bathroom

Disliked: Slight smell of damp but this didn't spoil our stay

Liked: Bruges is a beautiful and very characteristic city. I felt that the hotel captured this nicely. It was very quaint and cozy. For the price that I paid, I was very pleased with the hotel and my stay in Bruges. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting for a couple nights as it has a perfect location and sets the atmosphere!

Disliked: I disliked that there was no shower on my floor. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Liked: The hostel is in a very central location. Bruges isn't that big so it was very central. In the beginning, we got lost trying to find the hostel almost for an hour and it was raining. Everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Disliked: I didnt like having to pay for the breakfast. It wasn't a lot to eat and it was five euros. Additionally, I thought it weird that the staff wasn't available to us on Sunday. We had a question about when to leave, but no one was at the reception desk. It was really hot but we came here in winter. In the beginning, we were able to open the window, but after that one day it mysteriously became locked. Needless to say, it was a very hot night.

Liked: Simply perfect! really enjoyed my stay there. Full of youngsters like myself, and somehow felt really safe in leaving my stuff around. Friendly staff & a wonderfull atmosphere!

Disliked: Pretty much NOTHING! ;)
