Liked: The atmosphere of this place is great. The showers are hot, the restaurant is wonderful and I would definitely recommend eating there at least one night.

Disliked: The shared (4 person) room is pretty small, but fine. There were some obnoxious guys there when we stayed and they were very noisy, but I guess that's just bad luck. This place is a great hostel overall, really nothing to complain about.

Liked: Great location - an easy walk from the train station, and within walking distance to all sights. A very basic hostel, but good prices and coded doors.

Disliked: Not a good human-to-toilet/shower ratio, and nowhere to socialize or kick back. The wireless also went in and out on me, but that may be an issue with my computer.

Liked: Brilliant location - only 5-8 minutes walk to the main square and Belfry. Food at the restaurant was amazing - great tasting and huge portions. Stayed in the hotel section - room was comfortable with spacious en-suite. Had a leaky tap one evening (at 9pm) and they called out a plumber and had it fixed within 30 minutes. Great service. Would go back there again.

Disliked: No real complaints with the place - enjoyed the stay!

Liked: really central location; helpful friendly staff; great information; very safe and secure all rooms are coded and fun to meet people

Disliked: no common area to hang out as it was raining one day but there is lots to do in Bruge anyway

Liked: Great location.

Disliked: No computers, no kitchen or fridge to keep food in, no relaxed common space/room to hang out unless you go to the downstairs bar, old and creaky wooden beds, very dark hallways, just felt very sketchy.

Liked: ~ 10 minute senic walk from train station. Right in middle of town. Above restaurant, but no noise to speak of. Inexpensive; pay for what get. Basic, but comfortable. Relatively comfortable beds. Close to numerous supermarkets.

Disliked: Only 3 showers + 5 toilets for 3 floors. Scant power points in rooms. No kitchen facilities. No common room area. No lockers. Non-secure day luggage storage area (shelves at back of resturant). Breakfast extra.

Liked: Building with great character! Great location. Lovely helpful staff. Nice room with good shower! :)

Disliked: Not very sociable. Didn't manage to meet any other fellow travelers.

Liked: The staff were friendly and told interesting stories about the town, it felt very peaceful.

Disliked: There wasnt much to dislike for a hostel.

Liked: Good location Nice staff

Disliked: The showers are a little uncomfortable, as there's any space to put your clothes when taking a shower. The breakfast is quite expensive The hostel isnt fun, as it is an old building

Disliked: no kitchen but theres a pretty good restuarant downstairs with reasonable prices. There is also a great little take away shop just across the street with amazing pastas. Also the rooms were quite small and very poor lighting, couldn't see anything

Liked: Really nice building, though I didnt eat in the restaurant it looked like a lovely place. Obviously Bruges isnt known for absolutely mental all nighters, but there are some very good pubs nearby. Easy to find, showers were pretty clean and the price was fairly reasonable.

Disliked: Not much really!

Disliked: No free Brugge Card (available in other hostels) No kitchen No free car parking (but mentioned in the offer)

Disliked: Very old, not clean and no practic.

Liked: Great location and the bed was quite comfortable.

Disliked: The walls weren't soundproof - we were woken up both nights by guests arriving home late or leaving early.

Liked: Great value for money. We stayed just for one night and were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly but take note that Belgians might come off a bit short and abrupt at first which might be misconstrued as rudeness but it's just their way . Room was clean and very central in location.

Disliked: Bed is not very comfortable. As my room was on the ground floor, i needed to climb two floors for the toilet.

Liked: The bar downstairs and the overall atmosphere meshed really well with Bruges. It was very authentic.

Disliked: There were only a few toilets and showers for everyone
