Liselotte HammondAs many of the other reviewers I also found this hotel very charming, the location great, the staff really really friendly and the breakfast superb! The only thing I have to add that contradicts some of the comments, is that I was troubled by quite some noise at night from the street outside of the hotel. I guess I heard particularly much noise from outside because my room was on the second floor and was looking out to the front of the hotel (there also seemed to be rooms that look out back, which I guess would be more quiet). Since the cathedral is right on the other side of the hotel, the noise from people that walk by and from a nearby bar seems even louder than it really is because of the walls that it echoes from. I guess the higher up you are the louder it seems. Other than that, I was very content with everything and I would stay there again! |
