Liked: Beds, shower and toilet were fine. Breakfast just what to expect from a hostel (not that great). Close to Central Station.

Disliked: It's about 25 tot 30 minutes walk to the center, but that makes you healthy right? Go with friends and not alone, the neighborhood and the "livingroom" are not that great.

Disliked: how boring it is, its about 30 min walk to center of town.

Liked: The location is good, it is clean, the price is very reasonable, the staff is helpful.

Disliked: The atmosphere is not cheerful enough for a youth hostel.

Liked: Front desk staff were nice.

Disliked: It was dirty and I did not feel comfortable, there were constantly men drinking beer leering at me at night when I walked into the hostel.

Liked: I liked that we reserved a 8 persons dorm room, but we only slept there with the two of us. The lockers were free which was a good point.

Disliked: I didnt like the location of the hostel it was too far from the center. The rooms were simple and doors were broken. The toilet smelled like cigaret smoke all the time. The reception opened late in the morningn and closed early in the evening. We did not get towels, eventhough this was said on the website. When we arrived the girl at the desk didn't even know that we already paid a deposit. Staff was unfriendly, did not say goodbye when we left and did not even thank us for our stay at their hostel. There were children walking around the hostel all the time. It was more like a childcare then a youth hostel.

Liked: The bedsheet :-) and the the room has very good daylight.

Disliked: The neighbourhood and atmosphere in the common room. No kitchen also a problem.

Liked: You can meet Antwerpens who are not able to afford a permanent home. They stay in the hostel and pay the rent on the daily basis. It gives you a very broad Antwerp travellers' experience. Not for those tourists who want to see all the nice buildings, cafes, museums and other contrived attractions.

Disliked: The WiFi was down.

Liked: The hostel stays near the main train station

Disliked: I did not like the environment, it freaked me. There were few students there. The major part were families and strange midle age men. I was afraid to arrive late there. It has no internet. I would never come back.

Disliked: There was no soap or mirror at the bathroom.

Liked: price

Disliked: people in the room were not young people but older guys and they even wanted to fight (not with me one against the other). I think this kind of stuff does not happen in normal youth hostels

Disliked: this is easily the worst place I have ever stayed in my life, breakfast was just bread and jam and coffee, the place made you feel like you would get ill, I am not against refugees and homeless people, but it is not the right place for a hostal

Liked: Friendly and helpful stuff.

Disliked: Breakfast area was untidy and quite often out of food and coffee. Kitchen stuff don't notice this for quite long. Toilets were often out of paper.

Liked: Room was adequate

Disliked: Felt more like a homeless shelter than a hostel. Young families playing throughout the corridors through the night, maintenance taking place (hammers) at dawn. Hostel was closed between 12pm and 4pm. I had no idea of this and indicated that my arrival time would be 2pm. However no notice was given that it would not open to 4pm. This was some inconvenience as I had walked for 20mins in the freezing cold to find the hostel with a heavy bag only to find the closure.

Liked: Location if you need quick acces to the central station

Disliked: Lack of restroom facilities, you cant infulence the people staying, but its a place were you could find (almost) homless people living there (drunks and stuff) in the off season for a discount price, or monthly rent...

Liked: although it undergoing renovations the place looks like it'll be great once finished.

Disliked: some families with babies staying there. they're cute one minute, loud the next. unfortunatley the latter is usually late at night.
