Chalet Kammleitn

Welcome to Chalet Kammleitn. Our chalet is just a few minutes drive from The Millenium Express, the gondola with the largest lift line of the entire Austrian Alps, transporting you to an altitude of over 2000 meters in only 17 minutes. We are open summer and winter.

Chalet Kammleitn has a lovely, peaceful summer garden with garden furniture and sun lounges for you to relax in, should you not wish to venture too far. Many of our bedrooms have sunny balconies with chairs, and the wonderful views of the Carnic Alps.

For Skiers and Snowboarders alike, we are just a few minutes drive from the Millennium Express Gondola Station, where you can explore the 110km of piste. There are also the lakes of Presseggersee and Weissensee for ice skating, ice hockey and even ice golf!

Prices are based on Bed and Breakfast – Breakfast is typically Austrian, with a selection of cereals, yogurts, local cold meats, cheese and fresh bread, fruit juice, coffee or tea.

Evening meals can be arranged if pre-booked at the time of booking.

Accommodation Information

On the ground floor, we have a beautiful guest lounge, with Log Fire, comfy sofas and chairs, free wi-fi; spacious dining room with hand-carved ceiling; a games room with table football, Playstation 2, darts board, board games etc.
First floor: 1 x twin room with south-facing balcony; 1 x double room with south-facing balcony; 1 x triple room with south-facing balcony. All with private ensuites and stnning countryside and mountain views; 2 x twin rooms with an interconnecting door sharing 1 x private ensuite, and both rooms have a north-facing balcony.
Second floor: 2 x twin rooms; 1 x triple room; 1 x quad room. All with private ensuites and stunning countryside and mountain views.
Outside: Peaceful gardens with tables and seats. BBQ. Secure parking - Free.

Location Information

Chalet Kammleitn is just off the B111 road, ensuring you of easy access to the many summer and winter activities, and only a 5 minute drive from the beautiful town of Hermagor, where you will find banks, post office, supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars.
The beautiful lakes of Presseggersee and Weissensee are a short drive away, where there are many water activities to be found, from fishing, kayaking, windsurfing etc. Whilst the borders of both Italy and Slovenia are less than a 40 minute drive.
Chalet Kammleitn is a “Biker Welcome” chalet, and offers a multitude of exhilarating rides for you to choose from. There are washing facilities for your bikes, a drying room with boot warmers, garages and secure outdoor parking for your bikes, detailed tour maps with GPS info, daily weather forecast printouts, and flexible board arrangement
