Liked: The location is excellent, just near to westbahnhof. There are computers for free online.

Disliked: We are not live in the main building, the yellow door is not so obvious to notice, it is better to write a name on it. The staff is not here at night, we need to wait for an hour for checkin.

Liked: The services, the cleanliness, the ambiance, the security, the accessibility from the bahn, everything !

Disliked: If your room is next to the road, it can be noisy, but if you close the window, everything is fine, and the furnish the fan !

Liked: The Do Step Inn far exceeded our expectations; we stayed in a 'budget' private double, but our room, and the 'hostel' (which really is just around the corner) in general was not far from a good chain hotel. Clean, recently furbished, and secure. There appeared to be a good distribution of showers and toilets (individual cubicle) as we had no trouble waiting for others. A fan in the room also made up for no air conditioning. We could also see that the 'hotel' had good facilities on offer, with computers that guests could freely use, and I'm sure if the hostel was anything to go by, this would also have been a very good place to stay

Liked: bathroom in room, chipcard for opening the doors, location, free maps of the Vienna, kind stuff

Disliked: Uncomfortable bed, hole in the roof and very thin walls (every move of the neighbours was heard) and common full fridge in the kitchen.

Liked: close to train station. Only this.

Disliked: all services are worse than they had been promises in their web, and they don't give me the room that I had booked.

Liked: Nice and clean. Near the U Bahn and Westbahnhof station. Good clean communal areas. Not too expensive (at least not by viennese standards). We were upgraded due to a booking error without any hassle.

Liked: Good position next to Westbahnhof and also two undeground lines, five tram lines and two night bus lines make it great to travel at any time. Lockers are really secure. Staff is able to give an advice and also let you to let your baggage in a hotel longe till 11 P.M. on the day of your departure, so you may walk throughout Vienna one day more.

Disliked: The two bad things were: a little high temperature in the room and a main street next to the hostel.

Liked: It was clean.

Disliked: There were no lifts up to the third floor where we were housed. It was very difficult to get up with heavy bags. The room was also very tiny. with the bags on the floor, you could not even open the WC door proplerly. The breakfast was a total scam.

Liked: We stayed in an ensuite double room which was serviced (made beds & changed towels daily). Great kitchen and dining areas. Welcome drink & friendly staff. Location great. 2 quick metro stops from the centre of town and so easy to get anywhere else. Great if you are getting a train to other countries as Westbahnhof main train station is a 5 minute walk. I'd stay here again.

Disliked: My only suggestions are to have a lift (I saw a few people struggle with suitcases up many stairs) and to put wifi in the whole building rather than just the lobby. No real complaints. Definitely value for money!

Liked: very cheap, room was small but nice with good TV, next to main station, big common areas, free wifi, good kitchen but lots of people on 1 stove- safe bag room

Disliked: check in at 3...we arrived at 12 very tired and the room wasnt ready until 3 on the dot...no lift, a bit of a hike- fridges were small and overflowing location average...far from centre but next to metro which was handy instructions on website very sketchy- took us a long time to find from the station, best to ask at the information desk UPSTAIRS at the station toilet was bizarre...have to see it to understand

Liked: free wifi within the common areas as well as a computer lounge with free internet also. staff was nice, room was great. bathroom spotless, had towels and a fan (which saved us from the heat). nice little tv in room as well.

Liked: the kitchen is great! I love free food and I love having people to give food to that I can't take with me. I love being able to cook and make sandwiches before a long day exploring. The staff was really friendly and the free internet was a plus.

Liked: It's near Westbahnhof so you can take the U-Bahn to go everywhere around the city. The hostel was really good. The staff was very kind and helpful and they offered us a welcome drink even. Everything was clean. The "worst" thing is maybe the breakfast because you should pay and it's not so good. But I would stay there again if I come back to Vienna.
