The staff was very nice. Breakfast buffet. Bring your own towel. Good place to meet people. A little outside the center, but overall, a great hostel.

My friends and I stayed in Do Step Inn for 3 nights. It is brand new, cosy, well decorated, and very clean. We have a nice, comfortable room with furnitures from IKEA, making it posh and chic. The rooms are near hotel's standard! We had an ensuite room for 3, the size is just nice, other than 3 beds (no double decker!) we have a dining table with chairs and a plasma TV!!!! The receptionist is very friendly and patient. There are 2 computers for us to use, which are FOC. There's a kitchen and dining area (again, very posh and nice beyond your imagination for a youth hostel). Utensil and cookery are complete for a massive cookout, and you don't need to worry about washing up cos there's a dishwasher!! All for just about 16 EUROs a night, very reasonable for Vienna's standard. Location is perfect, 5 mins walk from westbanhof, 20 mins from the historical centre, 2 mins from the nearest BILLA (supermarket). Thanks to the location, we went to Schronbrunn, Hofburg, Belvede, Prater, Danube river etc etc, all on foot which save us a lot of money and allow us to see Vienna to the fullest! We would vote it the as the best of all hostels we've ever been in >10 countries. One thing I need to point out is... there isn't a pub downstairs like most youth hostel so party animals might feel too bored. However don't be put off by this, coz its location allow you to walk out for a great night in the city. For mature, serious travellers who would appreciate a classy, comfortable, affordable and quiet place for rest after a day long's travel, there's nowhere else to be in Vienna except this hostel!

I love the cleanliness, the colours of the set up and the friendliness of staff. The kitchen was great too.
The location is excellent as it is near everything.!!!

The staff was always ready to help in any way. They had numerous and good suggestions on where to eat and go. The rooms are cozy and clean, and showers have beautifully hot water.
