Liked: I liked the fact that its walking distance to the train station and not far from the main street where the cafes and McDonalds are. Also the availability of several computers and easy access to the Internet. That was a big plus.

Disliked: The kitchen is not user friendly. It is dirty and the refrigerator is too small. It was full of old food. Items should be labeld by date and discarded on the 3rd day. It wouldn't hurt them to provide hairdryers. Also, not as intimate as a "mom and pop".

Liked: Clean rooms. Quite nicely decorated. Small fan in the room. Shared toilet and shower was clean and males and females are separate too. Right beside train station, 2min walk. Big supermarket just around corner which was handy. Towel provided. clean bed linen. Room door and main door to building open with a key card so very secure.

Disliked: No air com. Window very small. Had our little fan but still very warm in our room.

Liked: It was clean.

Disliked: This place doesn't feel much like a hostel. The staff aren't very friendly really. Also the you can only leave your luggage in the store until 12pm on the day that you check out. This isn't very helpful if you're getting a night train out.

Liked: The rooms are clean and tidy .We didn't have bathroom in our room but there were a lot of batrooms in the coorridors So we never had to wait to have a shower It was next to the main train station but İt was a little far from city center but you can walk about twenty minutes .

Disliked: The flat which we stayed was next to the main hostel building .The kitchen was in the main building so we couldn't use it and also we couldn't acess the internet in our room because this hostel had the wi-fi in the main building. We stayed in trible room and we paid 18 euro for one night .It isn't cheap but wien is an expensive city when ı compared with the other cities .

Liked: Good location. Great stuff. Fully equiped kitchen - you don't have to take anything from your home. Free luggage storage for the whole day after check-out.

Disliked: Lack of the fridge in the hostel (only in the main building). Wi-fi only in the main building.

Liked: Upon arrival we were told that the water pipe broke, so they put us in an alternate location - apartments in Philadelphiabrucke subway area. The building was not particularly fancy, the entrance door was open, but the apartment itself was lovely (the staff did warn us about the bad looking entrance). We paid for a budget double, but the new apartment was a major upgrade, as it had a private bathroom, kitchen with a fridge and all utensils, and three bedrooms, supposedly for six people. The location was pretty nice, not far from the subway station (less than a five minute walk). There was also a nice bakery accross the street.

Disliked: The area was pretty much residential, you had to take the subway if you wanted hustle and bustle :)

Liked: The cleanliness of the area was top-notch. I rarely have seen any hostels as clean as this one.

Disliked: The room provided was a bit stuffy, and I felt the breakfast description was a bit misleading-- they promised meat and cheese, but what I got was meat and cheese spreads for the bread rolls provided

Liked: We stayed in the hostel building, a short walk from main reception. The neighbourhood was quiet, but close enough to shops and places to eat, as well as a supermarket just around the corner. All of the staff were really friendly and full of help and advice about Vienna. Although breakfast wasn't included, it was possible to purchase either a small or large breakfast, and we were more than happy with the small one. There are guest kitchens in both buildings, and free wifi throughout. The hostel is only a few minutes from Westbahnhof, and although it is possible to walk into the very centre of town, we preferred to to get the U-Bahn or the tram from just up the street.

Liked: Friendly staff who can speak fluent English, candies on beds :), colorful and wonderful atmosphere in rooms, next street there is a car park, only 2 minutes to main train, tram and metro stations. -You can even go to Bratislava for daily trip!- Free water, no stupid deposit, easy check-out. The best way to stay in Vienna is Do Step Inn!

Disliked: You should check-in early or let them know, we had a little problem but then they solved it very well. I am so thankful!

Liked: This is a great hotel, the staff are lovely, it has a great kitchen, the room was very comfortable, its quiet, not an overly long walk from the city centre or the Royal palace and right next to Westbahnhof station.

Disliked: Theres nothing wrong with this place, stay here!

Disliked: The reception guy was quite nice, but the apprentice girl was so rude. :( And both of them were not so informative.

Liked: A quality stay with such a cheap price. Ridiculously close to the Wien Wbf station, and a nice walk away from the Museum quartiers etc.. Enjoyed the kitchen, Dining space was great. Enjoyed the music and the chess board outside.

Disliked: Cooking space a bit too small for a bunch of people

Liked: Great kitchen/common area in the basement, lots of character. The private bedroom was very nice, but small. Everything was clean and neat.

Disliked: Location could be better: 5-10 min walk to train station, then a 10 min ride to city center. Not much to do near the hostel.
