Liked: Near train station, average facilties, easy to get into Vienna by metro,

Disliked: Quite far away from the centre of Vienna, couldn't really get anywhere without a metro ride

Liked: the staff were abso fantastic. franz was very helpful about where to go what was on how to get there. the aparments were huge and great value for money. can cook for yourselves and laundry services provided as well as free wifi. we have travelled a bit and we think this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. hi franz otto karin and ann hope you are all ok

Liked: Staff are really helpful. Good location right near the main shopping strip, and 5 mins walk for the main train station.

Disliked: Um, the cleaner walked in while I was lying in bed and tried to chat me up. Wouldn't get the hint. Not cool!

Liked: Very, very nice hostel! The owners were fantastic!! Such a sweet older couple who really helped us out with figuring out the rest of our trip.

Disliked: Check in was a little confusing because we were actually staying at a private room of the "Happy Hostel" so my print-out had the wrong confirmation address. Other than that, everything was great.

Liked: the part of the Happy Hostel I stayed in is a converted apartment, which made me feel at home. I spent nearly a week there and it was excellent - quiet, clean and with good location. There is a new kitchen and bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Liked: They upgraded my room to apartment for no extra cost upon arrival,.

Disliked: Needs to be a little more cleaner.

Disliked: This place was terrible in the heat because it wasnt airconditionedand the room got SO hot i actually got sick from it. Kitchen was small and out of date but usable i suppose, toilet stunk,shower was fairly old. Computers were old but free at least. Staff didnt speak very much english.

Liked: Good location for central Vienna and Westbahnhof. Quiet at night in the outlying dorms. Good sized lockers.

Disliked: Could be a bit cleaner, and breakfast would be a bonus.

Liked: Great hostel, excellent location, very close to U-bahn station and tramway station. Very friendly staff, they even gave us a bigger room because it wasn't booked for that period while we were there. Everything is clean and tidy, internet is free. I would recommend this place for everyone and stay there again.

Liked: happy Hostel was right beside the main train statipn which made it ver easy to get too, it was also surrounded by shops an restaurants and only a short walk from museums quartier. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: although it is situated in vienna and expectedly expensive. We did find it a little steep for the services and quality.

Liked: the room was nice (though walls need some fresh paint), enough light and fresh air, clean. We were in private room, but sharing kitchen and bathroom with another private room, that was good. Kitchen is very well equipped, and bathroom was clean (it is cleaned every morning). We had wifi in the room, and there were two computers for all at the reception area. Staff members were very helpful and friendly, ready to accommodate our needs. The luggage room is actually a wardrobe with shelves, and it is in the corridor at the reception and under a lock. Very close to the centre (30min walk) and to the other attractions. would recommend it and stay there again :)

Liked: spacious, clean.but there was a confusion in the booking. we booked ensuite yet we shared bathroom with few others at the end.

Liked: gorgeous, huge rooms! High ceilings and large beds with really nice detailing (ex live plants and vines along the walls) made it very relaxing, classy, and comfy without being intimidating. A warning though, pay attention when the lady shows you your room - I found the building failry maze-like and it took me a while to find my way back!

Liked: Tha staff was very nice and helpful. We prolonged our stay for one more day and there was no problem finding us a room for another night. The location is great you can go everywhere by underground or buses.
